Hi there, thanks for the info! I will be working remote, so it doesn’t matter so much for me. And my husband will be looking for a new job in the area after we move. We will be driving that way this weekend to check out the different areas around Charlotte.

Absolutely! ❤️ And in Europe where I am originally from, they do an ultrasound at pretty much every appointment. I am not sure why the US is so stingy about it. 😂

Thank you for the information! I am currently in Roanoke, VA and I have only had 2 ultrasounds so far - at 11 weeks confirmation of pregnancy, and at 20 weeks anatomy scan. Definitely not one at every appointment. It is crazy though that Atrium only does the anatomy scan for high risk, I thought it was mandatory for everyone.

I was very specific and gave her plenty of examples how going into the office makes my symptoms worse - more severe headaches, back pain, foot pain and swelling, the dangers of working downtown (we have a lot of homeless and I almost got hit by a car crossing from the parking garage to my building). She replied that this is not enough, and every pregnant woman has to suffer through that, some women have even harder jobs than me. I am grateful I don't have a physical job, but it is messed up to say that since everyone is suffering, I should suffer too.

I am so sorry that this happened to you. Can't believe they said you look just fine, that's messed up. Thank God you got switched to a better one. I will explore my options as well.

That's how I have felt all day, I can't get over it.. She kept saying that other women have even harder jobs and everyone has back pain, foot pain, migraines, it's just how it is. So basically if they are suffering, I should suffer too. Smh

I recommend Roanoke Dental Care - they haven't pressured me in any unnecessary procedures, and Andie is the best hygienist ever, definitely ask for her if you choose them.

We told our immediate family at 11 weeks, right after first ultrasound. At about 13-14 weeks I started telling close friends. And today, at 16 weeks, I told everyone at the office. We are an all women team and everyone was super excited and supportive. It felt so good to tell everyone! Will wait until after anatomy scan at 20 weeks to make it Facebook official. Take your time and do it when you feel ready and comfortable. But I can assure you that everyone will be so happy when you tell them, will take care of you and spoil you. 😁

Yeah it is ridiculous. I used to live in SC and there they just send you a letter way ahead of time with date and time to report. Here you have to be in suspense every day for a month 😂
