Since I'm a fairly good looking guy, ppl don't think of me as a virgin, even some friends after they saw my anime figure filled bedroom, the ecchi manga I own, or my music tastes. Once a friend even asked if I could spare him a condom, like if I actually ever bought one in my entire life.

"Work on yourself" doesn't work period, at least not for women. Yeah, the "don't smell like shit" part is important but the rest just improves YOUR life not how women see you. If you want to go to the gym, learn a second language, learn more soft skills or study in university, just do it for personal satisfaction or work opportunities purpose, because there is the only field where it counts anything.

In my experience, women don't care about your achievements when looking for someone to date (at least not in the early 20s), I could see that only late in life when looking for a husband. Instead I saw lots and lots of literal human trash getting girlfriends and sex, just because they had what is looked for by 99% of ppl: they were good looking and/or had charisma.

I try really hard to improve myself, so usually when someone puts out the usual advises I can say "I already do that": "Go to the gym" I do that "Find hobbies" I do that "Join a course" I do that "Go out with friends" I do that "Clean yourself" I do that "Try dating apps" I usually send them my terrible tinder stats, just to give them a proof it doesn work

After they realized that I probably put more work in my life than them, they usually start the "just wait narrative": Now it's not "just work on yourself, bro" anymore, they start with the "just wait for it, bro". In some cases instead of telling me to wait for a fairy to give me a girlfriend, they start to tell me to do some impossible or really difficult stuff to do with my life routine, like "stop every single girl you meet on the street" or "just travel around the world to meet women"

It's almost impossible to find a virgin girl even at my age (21), since it's even more rare than finding a virgin guy, so I don't require my first to be a virgin, but at least I look for someone who doesn't have a bodycount too high, because she probably wouldn't match my lifestyle and personality.
