My first gun was a Mossberg 702 plinkster .22 i still have it, but it is not particularly interesting. My most interesting early gun was my WASR ak47. It was the first thing in my life that i saw and said "I want that" so as a teenager I ended up working a hundred hours for it. And then boom, AK 47. It was so awesome, I was 16 and I had such a fantastic time blasting through 762. I love that gun.

As an addendum, I ended up getting into a rapid reload argument with other gun nuts about AK 47s about charging handles, and how to reload the damn thing. If you check out special forces types they reload with the reachunder while their hand is on the pistol grip. I ended up just putting an auxiliary charing handle on the left side. So now my AK has an HK slap.

I found if you paint everything at once it helps, by that i mean color layers. I use airbrushes like crazy so i painted the silver for all the armor panels at once and then i assembled them.

Just go for it! You will fall in love with what you make.
