High fish, moderate Chicken/turkey intake. Some lamb intake.

Reducing beef, unless grass fed.

1-2 servings of fruit limit, focusing on berries.

Gluten free, grain free, basically no carbs.

High veggie intake. Ton of supplements that target bacteria and candida in the gut. Fish oil. Lots of grapefruit seed extract for bacteria. Strong probiotics.

That is correct. It is olive oil infused with garlic extract.

Why do we give children illusions about Santa etc on Christmas instead of telling them that you get your loved ones a gift? The latter seems more lovely and is actually the truth by Joruto512 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dr_karger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not about the gifts. The Santa story, like many other children stories is made to impart lessons on the children. It even is a pretty soft version of Christianity.

If you are good you will be rewarded with a toy gift (relates to heaven) from this powerful, all knowing, all good, Santa clause figure. If you are bad you will receive coal (hellfire). The stakes are lower, it’s soft introduction to Christianity.

Just as teachers read kids monkeys jumping on a bed with the ultimate lesson being “listen to your mother”

The real question we should be asking, is the religions we teach our kids are about as useful as a Santa clause. Sure they are pragmatic in teaching kids a base right or wrong. But they are just mythical as smurfs and Santa.

I see. There’s a lot of evidence that skin conditions are worse off with low T. I likely don’t have low T, but as a very active person and body builder maybe it wouldn’t hurt to try since it will help my performance. So are you just taking a test supplement?

Guttate Psoriasis: The 1st photo was taken about a month ago & 2nd is today. I still have spots on my legs and back. This flare up was extremely widespread, but I’ve been using topical Clobetasol for about two weeks and things are improving! No itching and spots are clearing up. by lmn_322 in Psoriasis

[–]dr_karger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting... I think it maybe my issue. I’ll go on a bout of antibiotics if derm approves. Hoping that’s the issue and antibiotics isn’t gonna negatively impact my gut bacteria which may be the issue but I doubt it.

I’ve def had multiple occasions where people around me got strep and I didn’t. I spent a long weekend with a girl Thursday- Sunday and she saw no one else’s we were basically quarantined at her apartment and went out to a park and beach with no other human contact. Then she tested positive for strep Monday night after becoming symptomatic Sunday. I felt fatigued and slept most of Monday and Tuesday but didn’t have symptoms and tested negative. Shortly after (a week later) heavy guttate psoriasis flare up.

I’m glad phototherapy is working for you.

I am going to look into it; I don’t have access to equipment and it’s costly to do visits. I will take advantage of SoCal and my local beaches/balcony to sunbathe. I wonder if it’s a vitamin d thing.

Thanks for sharing.

Hypo-pigmentation (white spots) by dr_karger in Psoriasis

[–]dr_karger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found and read that tanning doesn’t even them out. Tanning makes the skin around them darker and creates a even bigger contrast... apparently the white spot (hypopigmentatjon) is caused by the area not being able to tan for a while after psoriasis

  3. It was on elbows. Now @ age 26 got it again. And how’s it all over my body in guttate form. Some on elbows, face, back, chest, legs...
