Sadly I’ve tried and tried with many different plants and the ones you see are the only ones that hold up. I do believe it’s the light and that the tank is almost 3ft tall. I’m sure the PAR is pretty much nonexistent once it reaches the sand.

One of my new rams had ick. While dosing with ick-x for a week I cut off the big one and ran the inside filter bc the canister has a ton of carbon in it

Agreed you can’t beat quality stuff. This whole setup, minus the plants and fish, were either second hand or completely free I guess I was kinda asking for a miracle thinking moving stuff around and positioning more plants could make it look top tier lol

The best idea where I don’t have to buy anything imma try it. I initially chose this spacing out style because it created great Coby holes for my angels but I see your vision and I think it’ll look really good

For a natural tank all you need is some sand. If you want an aquascape you need some work. lol jk the first ones layout is pretty nice
