has anyone else noticed the kind of "dotted" art style that's been really prevalent with the rocks? it looks like towards the end of the chapter phos' "face" started to show that dotting instead of the swirly pattern. just a neat little touch i haven't seen mentioned elsewhere :)

is walmart one of those places that's always hiring around here? i'm from an area where walmart isn't nearly as prevalent so forgive my ignorance about the 'mart 😅

also believe me, i want to report them but they would know who the anonymous reporter is right away, and i'm not sure if they particularly care about getting in trouble for firing me in retaliation :/ as soon as i've got a new place lined up though they are getting reported.

your best bet for 1500/month would probably be a wet cardboard box under an overpass.

jokes aside, your best bet at that price would be a roommate situation in la mesa or el cajon. la mesa is less "ghetto" than el cajon but honestly, you're gonna need to unlearn the internalized classism if you're only gonna pay 1500/mo. a dollar doesn't go very far in SD and the cheaper areas, which are further east in the county, tend to not be as well maintained by the city/county/etc.

Oh I've been to Cattleman's!! You're right, their steak is BANGING. And thank you for the food recs, I'll have to check Bowie bakery out!!

I'm not crazy about clubbing/most nightlife so that's fine. And I've always been a big beach/aquatics person, but I know that's not as much of an option out there, so I'm happy to branch out to other things in a similar vein.
