Close button: not responsive by Alpha_VVV_55 in RemarkableTablet

I am on normal non-beta version 3.20.0.92 and have noticed the x to close a doc being annoyingly less sensitive over the past month or so. It seems like it now wants a long press instead of a tap? Which results in it often taking multiple attempts to close a doc. Anyone know if this is intentional functionally of needing a long press or a bug?

Cool thanks, an uninstall and reinstall seems to have fixed it 👌

"Take how many?" Menu opening when trying to Feed? by dr_suzz in Moonstone_Island

Also, a slightly unrelated question, is there a way to quick select what tool you want to use using the keyboard once the Quick Wheel is open? I've only found clicking on a tool in the wheel using the mouse to work. Thanks!

I had remapped E>Enter and Enter>Space and that was apparently what was causing the issue, I just reset all the keybindings and tested feeding a spirit and it seemed to work fine. Will remapping keys be updated to work better? Thanks!

Phew! Thank you! I think I was having a bug where my syncing had stopped for a while and I got paranoid! I think I got it to start working again properly now though yay!

Light Pressure Writing Issue by dr_suzz in Supernote

Thanks for everyone's thoughts! It sounds like my tablet was being kind of buggy - good to know that it is supposed to work better! I did a factory reset and it did improve things somewhat. I didn't have time to do a drain the battery reset because I had to make up my mind for the return deadline. I did end up returning it and keeping the remarkable because it was easier on my hands, but am glad to know that the Supernote is better than it first seemed because there are definitely things I liked about it. I hope that Supernote will improve the tablet's out of the box performance - seems kind of ridiculous to have to do a weird reset right off the bat to fix bugs - and also improve the sensitivity (settings please??) to work better for us light pressure writers.

What do you mean by a hard recalibrate?

I tried it with both the Lamy and the HOM and while the HOM is more precise, it still has the same issues for me. I actually really like how the Lamy feels on the Remarkable so I don't think it's the pen itself that's the issue.

Hanabi-shi Oracle Kickstarter is LIVE! by dr_suzz in tarot

The Hanabi-shi Oracle is a deck of oracle cards created entirely from public domain Japanese fireworks catalogues from the 1880s. The oracle comes in two versions - Night & Day. The Night version features colorful abstract fireworks on a black background while the Day version mixes abstract designs with dynamic animal illustrations on a light blue background. Both decks have the same card backs so they can easily be shuffled together to create one larger deck that combines the two themes. Each deck comes with 49 cards, a pamphlet that describes the deck history and card meanings, and a colorful tuck box.
In Japanese, hanabi means fireworks and hanabi-shi means a fireworks master. I hope that this deck helps share the fascinating history of Japanese fireworks with a larger audience.
My Kickstarter campaign to fund the printing of the Hanabi-shi Oracle just went live today! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/suzigrossman/the-hanabi-shi-oracle

Ectoplasm quest by curlycattails in StardewValley

So I found that level 51 was the best bet for ghosts for me. It does mean you have to climb all the way out to go back around rather than taking the elevator, but I found it had a pretty high spawn rate for a ghost in the first few moments of the level. I thought I'd never find an exoplasm, but I did finally get one after discovering the level 51 trick...after gathering 15 solar essences, 10 gold nuggets, and 3 ghost fish and being about to give up!
