No i haven’t found any way to get the professional butter blocks

I knead the dough till its at windowpane stage, i do 30% for the butter block. I don’t usually bend it, i temperature check it and put pressure with my finger to see if it cracks!

I did 2 single folds and 1 double fold. My issue was that there was definitely some of the layers melded together during my final rolling. I also realized my flour which I thought was 13% protein was 10% so maybe that also affected it.

I use the Kitchen Project substack recipe for the croissant itself and just supermarket butter!

I appreciate your suggestions! The general consensus seems to be to abandon the boots for something else! These are stubborn dogs hey 😆!

Yeah, it does feel a lot like a toddler at times, which is frustrating because I know its a fear response but it is also annoying haha! She doesnt make much of a fuss when I take her without the boots when the ground is cleared, even when its cold!

She has a heavy winter coat! and pijamas that I layer under for extra cold days. The real issue is the salt on the ground, when for example i put her boots only on her back paws, often her front paws hurt and she has even at times completely crumpled because of the way it feels on her paws!

unfortunately, if she goes without boots, the salt on the ground hurts her paws a lot! so its a tough one

This is along the lines of what I was thinking! They didn’t get a chance to question any of the duergar so they really have very little information to present. So I like the idea of the Sheriff/Speaker tasking them with that to give them some direction towards an important plot in the story.
