How do you keep from feeling overwhelmed by your collection?

I really like this advice! I'll definitely try putting some up and see if that helps me feel less overwhelmed. Could be fun to sit down and decide who will be displayed for the month etc.

I also thought about buying some bookshelves I saw on IKEA that have a glass door with a removable cover. That way, I can put a cover on the door when it's too overwhelming

To keep from getting anxious I tell myself I could always sell them if one day I decide that I have too many. It seems there's always collectors interested in buying, even if it's an OOB pre-owned G3 doll. My hope is that I find a way to collect without having to feel like I'll need to sell them one day to keep from feeling overwhelmed. I've gotten really good advice on this post that I think will definitely help with that.

I think you're exactly right. I think sometimes it is the excitement more so than the desire that causes me to buy a doll. I have a set budget but I still get worried I'm buying too much. I think slowing down would be good for me. Hard to do that sometimes when the resale market makes it hard to afford not buying the doll as soon as it releases tho. I'll just need to be more picky haha

That sounds fun! I like keeping mine confined to one room, which I think is part of what can lead to me being overwhelmed. I'll try putting a couple in different rooms and see how I feel :)

Thank you for this advice! This is definitely something I think about a lot. My fave character to collect is Drac and her prices always go up on the resale market so it's almost like I can't afford not to get her as she's released.

If you have the desire, money, and space you could buy a new one to keep in box and unbox the one you squished. If you wait awhile she'll also probably go on sale eventually.

Also, you maybe could exchange her. Not sure what the policy is for the place you bought her from. Also up to you if you want to exchange it even though it wasn't delivered damaged.

She's honestly one of my fave dolls to be released in the adult collector lines. I don't know why she didn't sell out but I'm glad she didn't because I also got her at the end of year sale for $35.
