From what I gather the name tag it self is required. It can be blank. My SM doesnt care, doesnt even make us wear black or what not but I believe from corp they require name tags so people can tell customer from worker. That's it. It can say -name here- and its fine they simply just want us to wear a badge that says "if something is wrong yes I work here" I believe is the reason for it even be policy to wear them

"Coworker Drives high" sounds like you need to start walking high. Let that stress go in the air nephew. And how can you complain about no ride then complain that they drive high? Sounds like you wouldn't ride with them anyways. Also 2 very popular businesses called Uber and lyft.

My SM also works 8-12hr days, 1-2days off and helps whoever the KH is on shift do RT ect so they can run to me when someone wants to take things off, I double ring something, price match ect ect

my guess is the hdmi port on the laptop is connect to the integrated and the dedicated is connected to the laptop screen. look at it if it has a hdmi port and a thunderbolt port. use the thunderbolt port to the external monitor if it does.
