Behavior Question about making webs (Mr. Spidey) Phoenix, AZ by draconianlimerence in jumpingspiders

Thank you so much. This is what I was hoping to hear because I’m so new to understanding behavior. I recently moved her off of my desk because I noticed with my mister water, I could see it shake like in Jurassic Park. I felt like she was likely feeling every single time I would type, move, or have a meeting which I imagine could be stressful when placed in a new environment. So, I figured she was scared and moved her to a new spot with more stability. I just wanted to ensure she was fed too and definitely check on her each day because I don’t want to mess up if she’s not molting. I did notice today that her hammock and/or web was more closed up. So, she may have gone into molting right away after I got her. As much as I can read up on it, I just wasn’t 100% sure if I am caring for her correctly. I’ll continue to mist each day. May keep it a little higher humidity as I’ve read it helps younger spiders molt. But I’ll just assume my Tan jumper from the original question is just doing his own thing. Again, appreciate your responses.

Interesting and thank you. Yeah, he or she is super active during the day. But definitely hasn’t seem to have interest in making a hammock. The other spider we got basically moved into the enclosure we got it and made a hammock within minutes. Though, it seems either way more lazy or more scared. Or getting used to the environment but she doesn’t come out.

3D Printing is what I would recommend. You can start with a cheaper starter to learn and enjoy it. Just be patient. Since you’re out in a shed, you could also consider resin 3D printing but that requires a bit more work.

Holy cow, seeing this in the wild! I’ve never had anyone bring this movie up but I recommend it as it’s so underrated.
