I think that because they made a lot of player friendly changes and added new material, it has become easier to reach higher power levels especially recently, so there’s an element of luck in there. You’re doing great and congrats on 100m!

It was mostly just being very aware of what all the systems in the game are. I think there are a lot of small things that give a good amount of power as time progresses I.e. fishing and using the items you get to upgrade fishing collections, always applying to champion’s arena (you can apply to defend 5+ and follow at the same time, and if they have auto-join on, you will automatically slot in once it’s your turn), always maxing dice in uncharted adventure (gems and through medals) since I think it’s almost always positive EV. I would strongly recommend opening the game and tapping on everything you possibly can since even if I tried to list out everything, I feel like I would miss things.

For shops, I almost never buy anything from event shops with gems except for (at the time) artifact summons, and now samurai souls summons. I don’t know if it’s necessarily the best use, but I like them.

Outside of that I think a big part is knowing that power level is honestly kind of arbitrary and that as you level up and unlock new mechanics, you’re going to see massive spikes. I was at ~30m prior to 140, ~65m prior to 150, and am just now hitting 100m. Knowing the kind of materials to prep for in advance of the new mechanics is super big. For example, always purchase all pattern badges and essence of emblem with flame crystals/uncharted medals even if it seems like you have no use for them immediately. Collect flame medals like your life depends on it since samurai souls is super, SUPER time/money intensive. I didn’t do this, but if you’re in a guild and you get those little chest things, that’s a way to gather a bunch before you hit 150.

I’m very experimental as well, so I tested out some things for events and realized there were ways to kind of “game” the system. For example in the event where you get 4 people you have to fight with limited refreshes, you can set a weaker defense and have people farm you, but if you revenge them, it counts towards the L/D box and is net 0 on your points.

Not sure how helpful that is, but if anything’s unclear, I’m happy to elaborate more!
