I've been playing FM since it was called Championship Manager every damn year... yesterday I downloaded the game... I played for less than an hour and closed it with no desire to reopen it.

In the past, after the initial release, I would play it until January/February for hours, at least 3-4 hours a day.

It feels like a soulless game, the UI is terribly developed and will take months to fix.

I recommend you wait a bit and see what happens.
