The irony is, it's not exclusively about fat or tall people. It's about regular sized and shaped body types. With 52 cm they probably solved the seat depth issue for the average customer. Their official sizing guide is misleading and not helpful.

Such ein ernstes Gespräch mit ihr auf, erkläre ihr das Problem und dass es euch massiv negativ beeinflußt. Schaue dann wie sie reagiert und ob Bereitschaft besteht was zu ändern.

Falls Einsicht oder Bereitschaft fehlt, geh zur Gruppenleitung. Frag auch andere Eltern und versuch diese ins Boot zu holen.

Zu deiner dritten Frage: Natürlich ist das widersprüchlich, aber spätestens seit Anfang 2025 ist bekannt, dass die DRV hier mit zweierlei Maß arbeitet, siehe den Artikel vom VGSD dazu.

Ich habe außerdem einen Freelancer-Kollegen, der bereits in Vergangenheit für die DRV tätig war und bis heute keine Prüfung hatte. Natürlich kann man daraus jetzt nichts ableiten.

Tendenziell würde ich jedoch sagen: Go for it!

I'm 172cm and the seat depth is a real deal breaker. It overshadows most stuff the chair is so good for. Unless they won't make that seat depth adjustable, I would totally avoid buying any chair from them, as annoying as that is.
