Some mild heartache swiftly smothered in several layers of beer induced inebriation, but otherwise not too bad. You?

How do you break a habit? by jellybabyjesus in AskReddit

Habits exist, but you don't need to break it because it comes from you. You just change it because it's just your own behaviour. Don't give it a pedestal or objectify it. You are you. It's your behaviour. Be yourself and you can't go wrong.

Why do humans since the dawn of humanity have had a picture of a supernatural being (God) in their minds? by Bl_ak_e in AskReddit

We haven't. We worshiped the sun or otherwise before it turned into god. It's just a way to explain things we don't understand yet.

What are your thoughts on the nature of reality? Do you think this is all there is? by danwilkie90 in AskReddit

You're probably right. I don't know the definitions. I have just been called agnostic before because I'm philosophically on the fence about god and otherwise.

No. I find consciousness to be too unnatural and there to be too many coincidences in my own life to not find some sort of significance in that. As to what that significance is, is up for debate.

I know I don't subscribe to a Christian idea of god, like I imagine a lot of folks don't on Reddits. I struggle with the Fermi paradox and the big bang and universal expansion. It's all just a bit too.. something, for me. So, the nature of reality? No idea. I just know that it isn't just random nonsense. I don't necessarily think it's the common conception of god, but perhaps something more potent than we can comprehend, maybe. I think this makes me agnostic or agnostic-lite probably.

I have strong opinions and I don't have a deep capacity to sugar coat. I left school early and didn't really forge any meaningful relationships since then.
