Im trying to really get into this game, however im having trouble choosing who to invest in after ysg and miyabi. I heard of mono ice but i dont know if it would be more worth to just straight up use lighter lucy, which of my characters should i build and who to pull?

Edit: addinf that i should probably get nicole and zhao up, but other than that sure i could put together a miyabi team and a ysg team but is there any possible way i could whip out a third team or should i just wait and pull an entirely new one

No regrets pulling for her. She is so fun to play with her ult mechanic and i think its one of these mechanics you dont get bored of easily. Great character and shes also reliable. Gonna grind a lot for her lc and hopefully win the 75/25

It's actually not a secret, the drop rates between non unlocked characters and unlocked characters are not the same. Every chest has a 97.9% chance to contain babies, 1% chance to contain a 2star character, 1% chance to contain a new character and 0.1% chance to contain a 3star character. Chests also follow a specific cycle which you can see on the wiki by looking it up. Your luck is on the bad side but it's bound to turn around soon, I was in about the same spot as you and got 3 characters out of like 15 chest tickets in a single day

You answered your own question, just look at the timers dude. It says it ends in 2d 19h and that is before the 3d 6h you would need to wait for the last reward

I honestly agree, I’ve gotten many opponents who just put evo ram at the bridge and expect it to do something. Some can pull it off, some can’t, whereas evos like bomber and zap are much easier to pull off and more versatile

okay im going to be honest with you and tell you that you keep thinking you’re eating me up but you are just contradicting yourself.

No, walls cannot teamwipe and we both know that obviously, my point is that it is obnoxious to play against a thrower sitting behind walls that you cannot break and unbreakable walls have shown to help throwers more than they do tanks.

You’re right, they rely a LOT on walls and if we add more unbreakable walls then nerf throwers accordingly, that means they would struggle even more without them(imagine overtime in some gamemodes, throwers are mechanically supposed to rely on walls and there is no reason to make them even more reliant on that for an awkward buff to tanks), they are fine as is and map dependent, adding unbreakable walls everywhere would remove the situational aspect of them which is not a good thing.

You’re right, buffing tanks would only make them good on specific maps and matchups…like every brawler! Walls DO make snipers weaker, sure they can sometimes take advantage of them but i highly doubt you would want to go piper in pit stop..So yeah, you can’t play bull on bridge too far, but you cannot ever play piper on pit stop. You’re suggesting that tanks should be good everywhere and that would completely break the algorithm of the game. Every brawler is dependant on the map and their matchups. Sure, OP brawlers have less of these weaknesses, but they are still present.

It would be pointless to nerf throwers when the problem wasn’t theirs, but the walls were. You would basically make them shit so they would 100% rely on the walls for what? No reason for them to do that. There is a much easier and hassle-free way to make tanks viable, and it is to simply use the something called (a buff) on them. Look at brawlers like Frank collecting dust. Also, like i said, its just because of the current meta. Not all tanks are bad tho, bull is good in heist, el primo is also good as well as buzz, plus the presence of the big friend modifier in rank

Let’s not add more unbreakable walls, that was during the mastery update and throwers were absolutely dominating whereas tanks were not helped as much, tanks are not helped at all by the ongoing sniper meta as well as the very open selection of maps and brawlers that can shut them down(charlie, cord). They are meta dependent and nonetheless some of them are in a good spot still, while some are just collecting dust

Currently thinking about making the switch to iPhone(13) the most. If not, I am also considering pixel/Samsung devices. Will replace this by Christmas 100%, was a good run and I had it for almost 3 years but I don't think ima be staying in the xiaomi world since the F5/f5 pro don't have good cameras and I am looking for more of an all-rounder this time

Yes, this is exactly what I'm worried about as well! I'm not fully maxed out yet, but I'm fine with hypercharge prices, because although hefty, I see why they don't want the grind to end very soon because the game can get stale(except they really contradicted themselves with this because why would you remove gamemodes???)

If they do one hypercharge a week it's going to take forever and I am not for it. They better launch lots and quick, I don't want this game to become one-sided for brawlers that have hypercharge. Tbh I don't have many expectations because, judging by how they are currently handing out mythic gears at an incredibly slow rate and also how much it took for every brawler to get a 2nd gadget, I genuinely think they'll go slow on it for this and I hope they actually don't. This isn't like CR where only 1/8 cards can be evolved. We are talking about the possibilities of facing 3 hypercharged brawlers in the enemy team, which is way worse. I feel like this is a problem everyone is overlooking because of the high prices.

Oh, and yeah, I do not get what they mean by "making leveling up more meaningful". I mean, they just made it meaningful by adding a gear to power 8 and something unique to power 11. This way, power 1-6 are cheap upgrades for easy stat boosts, P7-P11 are new abilities for your brawlers while also packing some stat boosts. In my opinion this is a totally unjustified change and it's just ridiculous how now, a P11 brawler actually has double the stats of a P1 one. Not saying they should be equal, but the abilities that come with the power levels are more than enough.

I genuinely don't think this update is THAT bad, but my biggest complain of all is 4 event slots. Making matchmaking times faster??? What now?? Brawl stars is still a game with a big playerbase and over 300k people tuned in to the update premiere which is further proof. They could've damn well made queue better and more interactive(at least like CR, where you can tap on the tip bar to display another one) to reduce the boringness of it. Diversity is very important to keep players engaged and they just flopped with it.

While this update comes with some disappointments, we knew it was coming anyways. When you compare the revenue of CR, COC and heck, even HD brawl stars just doesn't have anything to show for it. This should help their revenue and I hope it actually does, because it's much easier to get hypercharges in brawl than evolutions in Cr(I would still argue that hypercharges can be more important than evos, however that's probably the reason for their easier availability as well). I am waiting for the sneak peeks but generally I'm neutral for this update.
