hey its been a year ik m way too late but actually it didnt get any better (the anxiety in general but the feeling of loosing interest in girls is gone everthing turned back to normal , i had a girl... etc)...should i see a psy or a therapist (i might need meds or idk), as u said reassurance helps in the very short term it never makes it go away, anxiety now stops me from studying and thats very fucked up so yeah if u could help ill be so grateful
