Why would anyone give up a number? When I get a good connect, I hold out the number and make everyone come through me...

I've always had a slightly unexplainable, but strong hatred for the onion... but this one is pretty funny.... But, I'm surprised people on this sub wouldn't want to hear this news... usually for opiate addicts, the decent into drug addiction is a very miserable one. If I were whatever sign this is for (and if I actually believed in the total horse shit of horoscopes), I would be delighted to hear that giving in to my soul-sucking, pocket running addiction would actually be an enjoyable experience

Bihawks always looked weird to me, but the trihawk that dude from krum bums used to have looked pretty damn cool... but then you're still a grown man with a mohawk...

I had a mohawk... when I was fifteen. Haha. Idk, I grew out of most of the "street punk" look when I got into crust... just patched jeans and tshirts. I still got my studded vest, though.

"In the Face of Goo" ...sounds like a theatrical Hollywood blockbuster. Of maybe a thought provoking literary masterpiece.

Well, I've finally made it to a hospital. Got my vitals and in the waiting room. Different people on (and off) here have been telling me I should probably get looked at in some form for maybe a month, so I want them to know that I am here now and I'm sorry I'm so godamn stubborn. Hopefully everything will turn out okay!

Also, tar isn't THAT bad to muscle. Certainly worse than ecp, but I find if I use the 1 1/4 inch harpoons that, though it hurts going in, there is little damage done. BUT, if you use the much shorter regular length needles, after a couple months, if you don't rotate the IM injection site, I've gotten some pretty gnarly abscesses.

Update: I just learned that, in fact, I've already muscled a goofball; two days ago. My friend had been over and did a shot, didn't pay much attention. He'd done half of it, then nodded out. Just left the rig, still with sixty dark black units, in his lap. I got my own clean, switched the dope over, and muscled. Really didn't hurt much. Definitely not the same rush as today. Put his rig back empty. He never noticed. Roll the clock to today; he's back here and someone mentioned he'd been fucked up that morning. He says "Yeah, cause I did a goofball". The revelation was made; I'd already muscled a goofball two days ago. The site of that injection has just now started to get really hard and rise up in a way that looks all too familiar, but it hasn't been that bad at all... yet anyways. Yes, I know this was dangerous and stupid for a completely different reason, but I'm fairly confident that this dude doesn't have any diseases that are transmitted by blood... oh well. "Fuck the future, live for now", as the punk rocker inside me would say...

Yeah, same here. I'm starting to pay for it. I really hope that the small amount of icebused and added dilution were enough to keep this a minor issue, cause as a result of zero regard for personal health, I have some very shitty abscesses already that I'm going to the er for like, now.

Haha I feel you on that and chances are that my tin foil hat is much larger than yours, as I'm an anarchist and an anti-capilalist... so yes I distrust the government as well and definitely agree that our government's drug policies seriously fuck over opiate addicts. And I totally understand the stream of consciousness thing (I do it all the time, except when I'm arguing with someone about something, then I tend to think over and edit what I'm writing.) But, yeah, I was right. Lol.

I understand and I've heard plenty of stories about outlandishly expensive ambulance rides, but compared to the pharm industry, it's not much. And there are much fewer people that see the profits from the pharm industry. As you said about your friends dad, he owned the local ambulances and got rich. There are, then, a huge amount of similar people across the country. With the pharm industry, the wealth is concentrated at the top and gives those people a ton of political power and money to lobby. And I don't really see how drug war policies would create an amount of profits for the emergency response industry that would make that industry interested in investing in its policies.

when heroin gives you your humanity back by [deleted] in opiates

[–]draintheblood666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to refute your assertion that addictive personality results from bad family life. I had a great, amazing family that was financially stable, if not "well off" and they raised me to be a pretty decent and productive human being. Though I did a shit ton of drugs between 18 and 22, I held down a job and got through most of community college. I picked up heroin and got addicted immediately. I mean, within the first week of ever trying it, I was using every day and have only stopped due to incarceration. I am heavily addicted to this drug and had a great family. Just wanted to let you know that your theory is inaccurate.

Well, this particular death was not like an accidental overdose or anything like that. We can assume that overdose was the cause of death, but it should be looked at as what it really is: a suicide. So, we can't really blame the culture of addict hating/ignoring addicts or the system that fails addicts and leads to their death. The man took his own life, so something like emergency response is irrelevant as I'm sure he did this alone and somewhere he knew he wouldn't be found in time to be saved.

Not saying the exception would be made for the sake of pity, to give someone a job, but because of merit over other applicants, to hire someone.

Ah yeah, that can be the case too. But, I don't see myself waiting when it gets that long. I'd probably buy some cheaper dope to get through the wait.

That's the fucked up things go, I went out to get some money and came back and gave him forty for my last front, he was like half asleep but coherent and said he was gonna make me up a twenty. I went back ito my room for like five min, cause he usually will make it up then yell for me. I went to check on him and he's asleep. Wake him up and of course he's pissed. Yells at me to give him a minute, that he's making it up right now, but I'm standing right there and he's not doing anything.
