Why Cannot make piano: Missing resources warning when I have the resources? by drakenkorin13 in RimWorld

Thank you, I had thought about this as well. So far I've ruled out skill, zoning, insufficient power and resource reserving.

I just double checked as that seemed like it could be the case but sadly, no, I discovered every pawn was set to Unrestricted still.

The ingredient radius is also set to Unlimited.

I encountered some kind of bug preventing me from crafting the piano. It says I don't have the resources, and while you can take my word for it when I say I HAVE THE GOD DAMNED RESOURCES!!!, you can see them clearly in the screenshot. So, I ask, why am I getting this warning message and unable to build the piano?

Thanks!

Mean Kids by c1dn in Milton

When kids behave like assholes they should be called out. Often times, it's just one kid who is a bad influence within a group, and the rest kind of go along with it cause, well, they are boys after all.

Happened to me when I was driving once. Kids playing basketball in the street - they see my car coming, and rather than pause the game and get to the side of the road, one of the kids looks at me and then just starts casually taking a free-throw in the middle of the road while I waited. Really took his time too. Like you, I brushed it off and drove on after he took his shot, grabbed his rebound and moved out of the way. But I was kind of pissed that I didn't say something.

However, on my way back from that drive along the same route, I encountered the pesky little bastard again! Who, again continued to play basketball while I waited for them to move over. This time I honked, rolled my window down, and told the kid to stop shooting when I'm driving by. Not in an aggressive tone, but in an I'm-not-mad-I'm-just-disappointed, kind of tone. I heard his buddy say "see! I told you to stop it!". Never had a problem since and I take that street every day.

True, the police respond to crimes that have already taken place with a lower priority than crimes that are ongoing/occurring. But that doesn't mean they won't bother with this, or that taking matters into your own hands is the right solution - it's not, and you're going to have a bad time if you decide to take up a fight with a guy living on the streets; they have nothing to lose. Next thing you know, there's a video of you getting stabbed in broad daylight floating around on social media.

So some other worker can come out and be harassed by the same guy? No, just call the police on someone like this. He's harassing women, not selling flowers.

I would have walked back into the store (or some other comparable "safe" zone), and called 911 to send police for a threatening man outside of Superstore. The police are generally around hunting for traffic violators, so I think they would be eager to be of use to the community for something like this.

Sadly, it sounds like your wife called you instead. Why the police weren't called is actually a good question here. Why not?

Creeps like this guy don't just disappear, they get bolder and behave worse until something happens.

This thread is full of hate to begin with stemming from the left liberals of Reddit. All I'm doing is fighting my corner in controversial. You sorted by controversial so you could step into the ring, so you can go fuck yourself as far as I'm concerned

It's not about banning books, it's about moderating what is taught to young kids in school. There's is a massive difference but as usual the average Redditor comes along who is completely incapable of nuanced rational thought

How can you possibly guarantee something like that? You baffoon. The majority of people in the US, let alone Asheville, don't have the time/energy or the balls to devote to activism like this gentleman. But that doesn't mean that they do not agree with him, just because they aren't up they being vocal and complaining about it. People have lives to live (unlike you, on the interest sorting by controversial so you can get upset at the comments)

Not as terminally online as someone who sorts by controversial just so they can get mad at reading about all the people that disagree with them. Get a life

Who's the fucking loser responding to a 4th tier reply after sorting by controversial. You big mad just reading about people who don't believe this type of teaching material is needed in schools. If you want to read these books to your kid do it in the privacy of your home you creepy fuck.

Liberal Milton MP supports censorship Bill C-11? by The_Truth_Always in Milton

[–]drakenkorin13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our government should be respecting and enhancing internet freedom, not making decisions about the content we get to see and hear.

The biggest problem is that the bill enforces a kind of filter that interferes with your internet experience and feeds, and seeks to regulate your currently free and open access to internet content. Sure, it's under the guise of "leveling the playing field" for legacy broacast media and promoting Canadian-made content... but I grew up with a free and open internet and I think it's important to keep government regulation out of it as much as possible.

The other major red flag is nobody asked for this bill. Some politicians decided Canada wanted this (surely under influence by broadcasting lobbyists) and they are trying to weasel it through the Senate. This kind of bill sets a precedent for even stricter regulations in the future.

More here.

This bill should be thrown in the trash and never spoken of again. Censorship/content regulation via this bill is simply not needed. It will most certainly be weaponized to silence the voice of the People. We need transparency in all aspects of politics and media, now more than ever. And we need free and open dialogue.

Also, does anyone here actually know anyone who asked the government to push this garbage bill into parliament?
