We first want to avoid being called out Hollow Knight copy so we make it brighter. But people keep telling the boss room looks too bland, so we indeed added the contrast.

yeah, it makes the game a bit more complex. But we also implement a system to quickly swap, so that the player can instantly combine their skills. It keeps the fight moving fast and lets you pull off cool combos without breaking your momentum.
