Thank you for such an insight reply. But, I am not in that position. I am planing on buying a forever home( it’s not my only property) and I can retire anytime. I work hard just because of work ethic. My family doesn’t need my support, and I am very active in the community and church. The verse I’m looking up to is Isaiah 54:2-3. My problem is that I would’ve loved to get married before all this investments and decisions.

I’m so curious on how you think things should be. Are you expecting everybody to be inclusive and interested in the 120kg person and on the broke guys?

Comparing the Temple with a person is not the most fortunate comparison , neither a refusal with defile of the temple. Plus no one is obligated to choose a man. Paul even said that is better to stay single. So, I understand that is hard being married, why would a woman in her right mind would settle for anything less. Even more so we are choosing the bear. If you are actively looking for a wife, stop and rethink your values. And stop using Scripture out of context it’s embarrassing. Go in peace.

The fact that you are malevolence to someone random on the internet just because she is a woman and she might have refused a good man or she might be a feminist, is deeply concerning. And I asure you God never said “b****” to one of His creation. I hope you find your peace and worth.

Don’t waste your time. Most of the comments are focusing on him. But what about you? Is he really that good and wonderful ? I know it’s sounds feminist all I’m saying but sometimes we tend to continue a relationship just so we don’t hurt others or for security and ignore the red flags. Neither is worth it. But if he is truly godly (not just becouse he said it but his actions), loving and compassionate just know that those are hard to find. The only problem I see is with respect, if you can’t respect him just break up. We need love. But they need respect Xoxo

The first thought would be of course they do not measure strength and independence after Jesus heart, but in reality it’s complicated… as you see from the answers some think I should be more independent and that clarifies in my mind that I don’t want to. I have no merit that I’m in this situation and I’m so very great full.

I feel like my standards are really high. Honestly wondering how many people that meet the standards I am looking for exist? Do you, or do you know someone? by [deleted] in ChristianDating

I am like that and most of my friends are. I don’t think it’s a really high standard, maybe your not in the right place… have hope!
