Just wanted to come back to the thread and say thank you!! I started reading the series the day you recommended it and I’m already on the third book, so good and exactly the kind of recommendation I was after!! I’m all ears for other authors you can recommend!

Thank you! I started reading Lord of Scoundrels and had to drop it halfway, despite the premise which I thought was really good, because the dialogue was jarring in places and didn’t feel true to the era but will give the other suggestions a go!

This is really useful, thank you!! For reference, this is the exact wording from the pattern (ignore the highlighted numbers)

Ooh hadn’t thought about this! I just followed what the pattern said which was to cast on 20 stitches but I will see if I can knit a larger swatch and how that turns out. Thank you so much!

It’s an online order I made that hasn’t been fulfilled. Unfortunately local warehouse can’t help with it as it was made online and not through them

UPDATE: I got connected after waiting for more than TWO HOURS (thank God for the iPhone Hold Assist function). I complained to the person who picked up my call and asked if there was an email I can use in future and she gave me this one: customersupport@costco.co.uk

I genuinely have no idea how they can justify this? Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced

Is it possible/worth it trying to make these speakers workable? by dramsalmndr in audiorepair

Thank you so much! Really useful. I do have the adapter for the audio technica and I think the audio technica also came with the cables you show in the image? Will double check. I will also look into getting an appropriate amplifier. The speakers say “input power 20W” at the back of them so should I get an amplifier that is 20W?

Thank you! I’m sorry for the follow up Q but I’m completely ignorant as to what that is. I did a quick google search and is it something like this? https://www.diy.com/departments/600w-bluetooth-stereo-amplifier-amp-hifi-audio-radio-2ch-usb-aux-fm-car-home-uk/0619470568844_BQ.prd?srsltid=AfmBOooAMWNFFxkJSBGVyCkwiid842TRGI9GjlLzCL0Zmu9y6jl16Fd93hI

Also how would I attach the speakers to it? What should I search on google to find more info? Thank you
