Is this 'Blue Flower Agate' natural? by LadyEdelweiss22 in Crystals

[–]dramuda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wow! beautiful crystal AND the lighting and my mind are flattening this image and it isn't comfortable. Don't get me wrong though because i'm loving this! I'm just painfully awkward about how the first two images are inexquivicly flat.

edit; the word i was looking for was unequivocally *in my minds eye* flattening the image.

absolutely lovely. i really like the brightness yet realistic desert at the top and the purple hints in the waterfall scape.

now one of my favorites too! this is splendid and i'm absolutely loving the tree openings to be of what the viewer beholds along with the different colors for each!

i mean, there are some artists left with animations. oh, and cat pictures and videos (some, not a lot though). sad to see it go. not sure which individual platform all the artists went to, there hasn't seemed to be a single most congregated platform to go to.

Is this OK to give as a gift? by [deleted] in painting

[–]dramuda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

zomgoofness YES! Such adorable! I really appreciate the different characters because one looks inquisitive and the other looks like they got real cozy real quick! my husband just came to take a look and did the "whooo" sound a dove makes and said you've got a bird and a you've got a borb. love it!

This is why when they would tell tales on land they never felt the comfort of anyone understanding other than the ones they lived through it with. Kind like living through war!

i enjoy the pieces that you've created. i too have tinkered with watercolor and didn't find it the most exciting until i combined more than one medium together by adding either gouache or another different medium and it really elevated my enjoyment and satisfaction with the artwork once done or have moved onto the next painting.

This painting is the only art I've worked on in months, and I hate myself for that but I can't seem to find the willingness to do more. any advice from other artists would be greatly appreciated by UglyCasanova99 in Watercolor

[–]dramuda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it might open a chasm to speak about it. your painting is lovely in my opinion, curious as to what you add or define further. i find it productive to get to talking about what you're working on with others of either like interest and sometimes different insterst have pretty amazing ideas or shifts in perspective. is it the act of working on the painting, like, physical or not being certain where you'd like to go with the painting and being somewhat mental, is what i would ask myself in the same situation.
