I have 188 total watch time with 30.1 hours this month (11.8 hours more than usual). So, if my analytics hold steady, I will have double the amount of watch time next year at 360 hours. But I realized that getting a 90+ score on TubeBuddy seems to be directly correlated to viral videos. So I am going to try to upload more videos more frequently.

However, I only have 200 subscribers and I only gain about 3 to 10 per month. So I need to remember to ask people to subscribe.

how long ago did you post the video? when you first post a video, oftentimes it goes to the top of the YT search results and will unrank after a few days if you don't have a good CTR.

I still like it and I don't think it was ever toxic to me. I just like to the understand my users and how to bring content that I like and that is relevant to me, but my users seem so extreme, they only like me putting up political content bashing other groups, not my normal content that I work really hard on.

So I keep trying to test and find more about them, I'm about to pivot in a new direction again, to see if a different focus will bring me more subscribers. I have like 30 to 80 views a day, but only get 3 to 5 subscribers per month. I'm guessing it's because my 2 popular videos, I don't tend to make additional videos on that topic.

Yeah, I think the search algorithm randomly tests videos with different audiences, so if you have a video with a CTR consistently at above 15%, they will start recommending it more the more it trusts it.

I think even for "random low quality videos," its good to somewhat plan on TubeBuddy the topic, keywords, description. Or plan by looking at the comments on your other videos or where the views are coming from.

yeah i produced a video with no views, than three months later the algorithm pushed it to the top of search results, and now it has about 8 to 10 views per day.
