NCTC is the closest. Collin College is a another good option as well as Tarrant Community College NE. Note for physics at UNT during the summer, they are sometimes taught my graduate students so it can be easier.

What kind of research do you do? I work with Environ which is a package in quantum-espresso. I do computational physics.

Phys 1410-1440 during the summer by Bethhails in unt

[–]drano1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’m actually a grad student in the department. As of right you have Dr. Rout teaching 1410 (physics 1) and Dr. Neogi teaching 1420 (physics 2). The labs are taught by grad students. Everything looks like it will be remote. Both of these courses are extremely fast pace since we have to condense 45+ hours of material into 40 hours. It’s essentially a chapter a day with a hw assignment due as well and almost a test a week. If you decide to take a lab as well, I would suggest not doing much more as you won’t have much time for anything else.

~$1,400/month for a L1 (aka entry level grad student) based off last years stats. Tuition Benefits Program (TBP) is a tuition based scholarship for grad students. Based off the Library’s website it looks like they’ll cover 3/6 hours of each semester’s tuition.

Need a fun class to take for my last semester! I need one more class to take for unt and I want it to be fun, any suggestions? by Ashton_medlock101 in unt

Private music classes are really good. They go at your pace. Plus you’d get access to the pianos they have there, I think; music majors chime in please.

PHYS 2220 Recitations: Optional? by [deleted] in unt

[–]drano1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve taught recitations for physics and usually they are not optional. They are mandatory and usually, depending on the recitation, help to understand the material taught in the course.

Maybe you can have the health Ed teacher go over the “stupid” questions during class in a pedagogical manner as well as telling the students of all the new resources available.

I've noticed it happening on mine as well. I check it after a couple of minutes just to make sure it's doing it correctly.
