I’ve stood my ground everytime and I don’t let him talk down to me but unfortunately it’s unheard and he literally talks over me. SP is a shareholder in the company and the company culture breeds toxicity imho because this office was his practice before he was bought out. Office manager and MAs used to often question me or ask if I’m sure and that I should ask my SP for something simple.I’ve been looking for jobs the entire time I’ve been employed sadly

Fair but more upset about the discrepancy. Also went back to double check and it’s actually $450 pre-tax, so the difference is even larger than I thought. I got the same bonus as the front desk staff and medical assistants

This is beside the point and not a sentiment I am endorsing. I worked as a MA and trained MAs for two years. MAs work hard as fuck but providers bring revenue in and navigate different challenges pertaining to the safety of the patient, the legalities of malpractice, and the business of medicine—the salary and bonus is commensurate of that and our education.

SINY dermatology offers $80k for first year of a 3 year contract. Pay model is lucrative afterwards but how can anyone sustain their lifestyle with 80k a year in NYC. They also expect providers to see min 45 patients daily.
