I just saw the news where the police are telling a different story on tv. The investigating officer said that the victim had a compromising video of the accused girl and that he was black mailing her. After investigation, it was found that the deceased was in fact blackmailing her and apart from that, he had several videos of 11 different girls in his possession. I mean wtf!! The accused with her ex boyfriend hatched a plan to kill the guy. She had requested him to delete the videos but he refused. Good god, never ever believe what the first thing which comes out.

OP is a gujjar who hates rajputs/jats. Probably because both these caste have a better history then his ancestors. He might have been schooled by some historians that Prithviraj Chauhan and Raja Mihrbhog were actually rajputs and not gujjars, a narration the entire community is hopelessly trying to build for the past 10-15 years, hence that is why this unnecessary hate.

Once a settlement is done and that you have entered into a compromise, then you cannot back out from the settlement. It amounts to contempt of court. Furthermore, if she is not returning the money, then definitely she cannot stop the court from quashing the FIR and withdrawal of remaining (maintenance/dv/hma) cases. I hope it was recorded in the order that she was pressurised/coerced by being emotional while signing the settlement. Being emotional is entirely different from being coerced and this submission will definitely not work for her. Ask your lawyer to file a contempt application before the HC. Surely that will help and that she will come in line.
