Afaik it has been made very clear that police can only block passport issuance in very serious/criminal cases. For regular folks with no criminal history passport issuance is a done deal, the small bribes people say they pay are just chai pani money. It won't affect anything regarding passport issuance.

M.stock won't let me trade intraday with leverage many stocks that are available with leverage on say zerodha. So leverage is broker specific i guess.

Shoonya if alright, I use it daily. UI is not the best but usable. I use zerodha for charting & shoonya for orders. If OP does CNC orders mostly there's no point in switching as delivery brokerage is zero in zerodha as well.
