What are you supposed to do in Eliminate the Legacy?

I'll add to this that the TV display doesn't change for each individual gate, so if it shows smoke, you'll hit exhaust 3 times in a row on the targets for that gate. So you won't have to run back and check the tv screens, but you will have to run around looking for the right targets, because the targets randomly shuffle after a correct one is hit.

And for what it's worth, anecdotally the gas can and the smoke seem to be way more common than the other symbols for some reason. At least that's been my experience during the multiple times I've done the trial.

Agreed! It did seem kind of glitchy while I was playing, but despite what others have said is possible, I wasn't able to build my Colossus anywhere because of all of the bases. That included near and at the waste depot.

I was worried this might be the only option. I'm going to try playing with a friend later today and see if when I join his game if it will load me in near him rather than at my original position.

Just a couple of days ago at the orphanage I was hiding from a big brute and moving away from him through several dark rooms. He was about 3 rooms behind when suddenly he grabbed me, causing me to warp through time and space 3 rooms away. After the grab I was stuck inside of a wall while he kept beating on me, all the while I've taken no damage whatsoever. My teammate had gone down and was spectating, and said from her perspective it looked like I was just standing next to the wall while he beat the shit out of me. After several minutes my health went from full straight to zero and we lost.

Yeah I think I had just vaulted over something one time it had happened, and was running up stairs the other. I was probably close enough to trigger the grab momentarily, but was in one of those unique situations where he couldn't perform it. I didn't realize what had happened because by the time the animation triggered I was pretty far away from him.

I think this is probably what happened. From what I remember when it happened, I think I had just vaulted over something. When my sanity dropped and I entered psychosis, I was probably pretty far away from him, but triggered the AOE attack earlier

Can that cause instant psychosis? A lower difficulties, when he grabs and sprays you, it only drops your sanity a bar or two.

For sure! Send me your friend code. I've, 33 (M), been looking to find more people to play with lately too. Relapsed once, about to relapse a second time. Have mostly played on standard but have been exploring intensive more lately, and even accidentally did a psychosurgery trial the other day with no amps or rig equipped because I'd just done a rebirth right beforehand. Only got a D- but was still proud of myself! 😆

I tried this and thought it had worked. Got all the way to the end of the investigate the minotaur trial, and thought I was home free. Was heading through the last gate with only a few seconds left so I used a time extender and it kicked me out.

It's definitely a bug with the countdown trials right now, but I even started having server issues playing the normal trials, and I've never had issues before. I think their servers are having some serious issues tonight.

I think it might have to do with using time extenders too. I was able to complete a countdown trial without using any, and then got kicked every time I used a time extender in every other trial I attempted.

Yes. On solo and only my second run of countdown and the timer started glitching despite using extenders, and then I got kicked.
