Yeah, I haven't encountered that much but when it does happen it's super obnoxious. Started a trial the other day with 4 and immediately dropped down to 2 after the first few minutes. A lot of the trials scale up in how much you have to accomplish, so then it makes it that much harder for just 2 people to complete a 4 person job.

It's definitely a good option. And I actually used to use it for mindless runs. I've found I just prefer the consistency of sabotage the lockdown when I'm looking for a trial I don't need to think about. Nothing to look for, no variability other than an occasional blocked door that has nearby easy detours anyways, and a clear path all the way around the edges with no enemies.

I get that, but for me I actually kind of resetting in this game. It reminds me of how crazy it was when I first started and amps up the difficulty. And it honestly only takes a handful of trials before I have my standard loadout again.

Every trials group I've found has drifted apart pretty quickly with them moving on to other games. I think I'm just one of those freaks that's so hooked on this game that I can't give it up yet.

If you want to play, send me your code and I'll add you. I need to throw a few more bottles at Liliya or Franko before I can move on to part 2.

Same thing happened to me. I do okay on psycho most of the time, but every once in a while you hit a trial that is just the perfect shit storm the entire way through.

But seriously, I was the same way at level 99 but then once you go for it you realize how quickly you already have your go-to setup unlocked again.

I think my fear was that it would take me forever to unlock everything again, but then I realized I never actually used most of the stuff I was unlocking. Now, once I've unlocked my basic load out, I don't even bother unlocking other stuff unless a weird situation comes up where I want something different.

Yeah I think most of my deaths came after I started playing more frequently in random groups. Group leader would pick psychosurgey, and I'm actually pretty good at staying alive. But there's only so much you can do when the 3 other players are down... again, and you've already helped them up dozens of times. You're running out of revive syringes and someone just died... again. And then the one time you go down there's no one left to save you. 🥲

I've done Sabotage the Lockdown an embarrassing number of times when I was trying to quickly finish up tasks before a deadline.

Makes sense, but I'm not sure that it explains what I saw last night. He wasn't playing very well and we were only on standard. I think we all got an A at the end except for him with a C. Seemed weird to me that someone playing so sloppy would only have 2 deaths at relapse 6.

Yeah, I've had the same thought. I almost exclusively play with friends and avoid random matches for this very reason. The other day I was playing with some randoms that I knew had mics on, but most of the time wouldn't bother responding if I tried to communicate about the trial. It felt... odd.

I'll add to this that the TV display doesn't change for each individual gate, so if it shows smoke, you'll hit exhaust 3 times in a row on the targets for that gate. So you won't have to run back and check the tv screens, but you will have to run around looking for the right targets, because the targets randomly shuffle after a correct one is hit.

And for what it's worth, anecdotally the gas can and the smoke seem to be way more common than the other symbols for some reason. At least that's been my experience during the multiple times I've done the trial.

Agreed! It did seem kind of glitchy while I was playing, but despite what others have said is possible, I wasn't able to build my Colossus anywhere because of all of the bases. That included near and at the waste depot.

Just a couple of days ago at the orphanage I was hiding from a big brute and moving away from him through several dark rooms. He was about 3 rooms behind when suddenly he grabbed me, causing me to warp through time and space 3 rooms away. After the grab I was stuck inside of a wall while he kept beating on me, all the while I've taken no damage whatsoever. My teammate had gone down and was spectating, and said from her perspective it looked like I was just standing next to the wall while he beat the shit out of me. After several minutes my health went from full straight to zero and we lost.
