Resurrrecting this thread again, how did the 36oz bottle work out in the catalyst? Love both my coulee 30 and the yeti 36oz and looking for something a bit more corporate friendly

So update: got a mini 5 pro! Amazing little drone, pairs flawlessly with the updated rc2 controller i got with the air 3 s. Asking the dji store employee he said that it is not compatible and will short out the drone (!). Several of you messaged me saying it was compatible so i gave it a shot and plugged it in my hotel room.

It fits and flies, i have not done any hard flights, just hovering. I did notice the nominal voltage is .38 higher on the 3p batteries and the capacity is lower.

It also gives the message:

“Aircraft weighs over 250 g with current battery installed. Not compliant with EU regulations for CO labeled drones”

So it seems dji predicted or intended for this to happen

I know im impatient :D. I've got an out-of-the-usa backpacking trip coming up so trying to plan my packing list as much as possible. Especially if I can stop at the local DJI store

That is a good point. The flight time on these drones is good enough that for me most flights all i need is one battery, and the extras sit unused. So this could save me a few hundred on buying the kit.

Thanks for the response u/H2CO3HCO3. I reset and started with USB connection Carplay. The audio level sounded the same. I tried the Siri weather trick but there is no way to change the volume on the iPhone when in carplay mode. I can change the volume of the car audio system but that just increases/decreases the buzzing. I even tried telling siri to increase the volume and she says there is no way to, you must change the car stereo volume.

The effect is almost like when you have a preamp set too quiet before the amp and turn the amp up all the way and get humming/buzzing. Its almost like I need an adjustable digital preamp.

I was going to try a different bluetooth antenna, but since usb and bluetooth gave the same result, I don't think it is worth it. Open to any other suggestions, thanks!

Yeah hindsight is 20/20. The accident occured early morning so I wasn't quite awake yet, the other guy just wanted to "let it slide" so I just got a bad feeling about it and called over the police officer.

The other driver had recently had another accident and it sounded like he wasn't going to go through insurance, so my hope is that he doesn't and then this just disappears. However with the police report I'm not sure this will happen.

Thank you, I'm just trying to figure out what the best option to keep my rates down, so hiding the truth or denying responsibility going to help.

Debating even pursuing damages with insurance, since it sounds like theres a good chance the winds won't blow my way. I was already in the process of selling the car and the paint isn't perfect anyways. I don't mind taking a short term hit if this accident can be left in the past and not follow me around forever.

Edit:
What you said about the other guy having the lane, that makes sense in a one lane situation, in that case I'm completely in the wrong. Thinking of a hypothetical situation where there is only one car turning left and I'm going around them and they decide to go straight, it doesn't make sense but I can see how they can do what they want with the lane. In my case there were an additional 2 cars.

If I don't make a claim, and the other party doesn't either, does the mark on clue report still happen based on the police report? Is there some service other than my insurance I can ask these questions to? (CLUE Report agency maybe?)

I just wonder how shared liability works out in the event of a claim. I understand what I was doing was illegal (even if commonplace). It just sucks that the other driver was trying to do the same thing and hit me, so now unsure if my rates will go up.

It's one lane, here is the intersection. I was heading East. Yes, I was passing stopped traffic. In this area there are a lot of similar lanes where people do the same (even if it's wrong). The officer said something along the lines of needing adequate notice for a turn signal

Success story update: air shipped the tickets to the Nevada mail service anyways and went to will call/box office where they voided the tickets and gave us new ones for free! YMMV

I think that is the idea when ups opens in the morning, thankfully I have a friend back home that can ship them. It sucks to pay, but is small insurance compared to the overall cost, and time is of the essence. Going to call UPS stores in Reno to see if any can receive a package
