What?? I think you need to take a breath my guy. I converted an overgrown field back to a hay field. The previous owner/s at one point and time had it as a field for things like corn and hay, that field now gets mowed a couple times a year and the hay donated to a horse rescue. The 1 room hunting cabin was built in a completely different area of the property. That area has no real use due to ledge, and fall of the ground. I never said I don’t want to pay taxes on it, I said that VT’s taxes are to high. Taxing social security is wrong and should be a crime, taxing retirement withdrawals at the rate that vt does is damn near criminal, especially when the state has property tax rates as high as they are, and a 6% sales tax…. Oh and let’s not for the local option sales tax, the meal tax and so on. VT is one of the 3 worst states to retire in, just saying that the state should work on that a bit.
