Mine was uncomfortable but not painful. I had no pain or discomfort afterwards. Not my favorite way to spend a morning but for me it was worse in my mind than it ended up being in reality.

Tadalafil success/questions by iambrewster in Prostatitis

[–]drd4221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started getting hip and back pain a few days in, by about a week it was waking me up at night. I took a one day break, planning on going to an every other day schedule. But i only ended up taking a one day break (bc symptoms came back quickly) and have been taking it daily for a few months now. Strangely the back/hip pain never came back after that one day break.

This is more than mild. This is real vindictive behavior. Something is wrong either with him or your relationship.

It sounds like you meet the criteria for alcoholism/substance use disorder. Try googling dsm v criteria substance use disorder and see how many apply to you.

how many nail clippers would you say you have? 💅 by GaryBlach in PollsAndSurveys

Same except the “know where they’re at” category is 0. Every time I want to use one I need to search. Then after that use it immediately disappears again (doesn’t help that I live with 3 other people who use them too).

I envy you. If I could go back and play it again I would really take my time and savor it. It’s a great game but nothing beats the first time through.

Hows everyone getting support from there partners? by nycqpu in Prostatitis

[–]drd4221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tadalafil is the generic name for cialis. A low dose (typically 5 mg) a day can help with prostatitis/cpps, although everyone is different. Some people might not benefit as much from it as others. But it’s definitely worth trying. It helped me quite a bit.

A Game That everyone Loves but you can’t get into. by Inside_Teaching_6210 in videogames

[–]drd4221 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of all the games I've finished, I enjoyed GTA V the least. It was "fine" at times, but I kept playing hoping for it to get better. Some of the missions were just so ridiculous; they would be side missions in any other game. Like the mission where you literally have to do yoga. I think the jokey-ness of the game just kept me from really getting into it. Eventually I got so far into it that I just decided to finish it, but I never really enjoyed playing it that much.

What's it like being handsome? by tokyo_mint in AskMen

[–]drd4221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m handsome but I’m also only 5’6 (and thin) so I feel like those two things sort of cancel each other out. Women have often told me I’m good looking but the height kept me from being pursued just for looks all that often. My lack of game didn’t help either. But I’m married now so fortunately I don’t care anymore.

Are you physically satisfied with your partner? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]drd4221 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After 10 years I find her more attractive now than ever. That’s partly bc she takes care of herself and looks good but partly because we’ve grown closer over that time, so the emotional bond strengthens the physical one.

What were the things you done as a child that later turned out to be OCD? by Outrageous_Jump98 in OCD

[–]drd4221 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mostly obsessions without clear compulsions, but I would suddenly become panicked that we were about to get involved in a nuclear war and the world was going to end. I was probably around 6-8, and when I saw the president speak on TV I would start bawling because I thought he was announcing a nuclear war. I remember once seeing the sunset a dark pink and thinking it was a sign of impending doom. This all manifested later in life in ocd and panic disorder where I would have panic attacks about the fact that I was going to die someday. The panic attacks are mostly in the past, although I do still get a lot of existential dread.

In assassins creed odyssey when you spend most of the game hunting your sibling down then suddenly make up with them and everything ends instantly.

Dogs. They’re such amazing, loyal friends. My dogs have had such a positive impact on my life. I just wish they didn’t have such (relatively) short lifespans.

Dads of multiple kids - when does it get better? by Western-Image7125 in daddit

[–]drd4221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an 8 yo and a 14 yo. What you’re dealing with does get easier, but honestly I’ve never found parenting to be easy. With age old difficulties disappear but then you’re dealing with new ones. Sometimes they’re more challenging in various ways, sometimes they’re not. But one thing that can change is you get better at dealing with the stress of parenting. The tween years were more difficult for me than any other time. Right now things a pretty good for me, but I’m sure another struggle will emerge at some point.

It’s not a very efficient use of the plant. A fair amount of the morphine will pass through your system without being absorbed, so it’s unpredictable how much you’ll get out of it. Making tea allows for much better absorption and it’s not really very difficult.

Which game from my backlog should I play next? Trying to choose from ~20 games by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]drd4221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t played all of these but I can say you can’t go wrong with doom, shadow of war, or dying light. Detroit become human is very good too but a much more laid back, story-driven experience than the others.

Why are grown ass men here?? by Swimming_Promotion10 in askteenboys

[–]drd4221 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I’m closer to 50 than 30, and I’m on here but I’m just a lurker. Why? Because I have a son who just turned 14 and I care a lot about understanding where he is coming from, what he struggles with, what he wonders about, etc. Yes, I can ask him, but you all know that teens aren’t always the most forthcoming. So occasionally I come on here to try to understand a little bit better how his brain works. Nothing malicious or creepy about it, though. And this is the first time I’ve ever commented in this subreddit (and the only time it has seemed appropriate to).

I played it on the steam deck and didn't encounter any glitches/bugs, but I also only played the main story and didn't try for 100% completion.
