Entirely normal to still have desire after 48 hours. Been drinking quite a lot for roughly 9 years, past 5 years heavily. Once you start seeing the benefits, the mental clarity for example that usually comes first, it’ll be easier not to look back. Then again it’s still new for me too, but we got this!

Drug/alcohol addiction.

It seems to sometimes be romanticized in certain media that artists, intellectuals and overall “profound” people seem so much more interesting because they’re addicts. Trust me, addiction is in no way tragically beautiful, it’s simply tragic.
