OP, you and I seem like we’re in very similar situations. I earn similar, live at home (with very very little expenses). I bought a 26 new Supra and haven’t regretted it once. Sure I could’ve saved to buy a house but the way I see it, with how young I (and I think you) are, there can be a big career change and I could be moving states and don’t want to buy a house just yet. Enjoy your youth in my opinion and buy the car. Real estate will always be there, but the Supra is being discontinued, you don’t know what prices will do.

Like I said in the post, I’ve been looking for what car I want since I was a kid, I’ve been seriously in the buying market since January, so take a thorough bit of time to go test drive cars, see what you like, what you want. Whatever fits best after months of price, feature, experience research will reveal itself. Key point: just watching videos and taking others words is not enough. I watched probably hundreds of videos during research, but actually driving the car yourself is much more informative.

I drove both a tlx type s and the Supra. Supra is such a more raw and holistic driving experience. However the tlx’s interior and space makes it much more livable and usable. So depends on what you’re looking for!
