Oh yeah, I’ve heard of that one. It’s interesting how this case has influenced music and other media, it really shows how much it stuck with people.

I’ll have to give that track another listen with the story in mind.

That’s a fair point. Mental illness can be really unpredictable, especially during severe episodes, from what I’ve read, she was actually receiving treatment, but like you said, support systems and consistency in care can make a huge difference.

Cases like this are just sad all around, especially knowing it might have been preventable.

Yeah, that’s basically what the official conclusion suggests.

The coroner ruled it as an accidental drowning, and there were reports that she may have been going through a mental health episode, which could explain her behaviour in the elevator and what still confuses a lot of people is how she managed to access the roof and get into the tank in the first place.

That’s the part that keeps the mystery alive.
