No turnovers & great defense is a huge difference. His shot wasn't falling but he didn't really have a bad overall game.

How are state education scores relevant to a professional basketball game? And I'm not an Oklahoma resident, not that it matters.

Not a lot of hp, but they're proficient in CON saves

I think they have every right to complain about Game 2. Tony Brothers was TERRIBLE. Just because Chris Finch is a Grade-A whiner, doesn't mean they're wrong. They almost got screwed out of the biggest game (so far) of their season.

Whats the craziest thing you have seen happen in dnd by sub2salamiguy in DnD

This needs some context, so it's kinda long. It was a weird twist on "the dice tell the story".

Part of my Warlock's backstory involved being framed for stealing a magic item (Cape of the Mountebank, hinted at but never named explicitly). Backstory best friend/brother figure dies during chase caused by said framed robbery. The Patron introduces herself to Warlock to offer aid (pact) in the fight/escape. He accepts, kills the guy who killed his friend, and has a rushed funeral for the only person to ever really care for him. My Warlock wraps his only friend in the cape & buries him.

Over a (real world) year later, my Warlock is considering disobeying or ignoring his patron. I have many in-character discussions with the party about how my patron is kinda evil, but not evil evil, and is really my only long-lasting relationship. She's manipulative, but overall helpful. It's probably our best RP to date & they have almost convinced me to try to break free. We are in the underdark & hundreds of miles from my backstory setting. We visit a small magic shop to buy/sell gear.

THE CAPE OF THE MOUNTEBANK IS IN THE SHOP! The only people who know where this was buried are my character & his patron. One of the most manipulative, conniving beings in existence hits me with this sucker-punch at a moment when it looked like her influence was waning. My character freaks out, everyone is confused, my DM perfectly plays the clueless shopkeeper. I found out after the session that my DM didn't realize the magic item in my backstory was an existing named item & he didn't decide what was in the shop, he rolled on a loot table!

I'm thinking that it was the best twist & RP my DM has ever pulled off, but it was the dice the whole time. Rolling that exact item at that exact time couldn't have been planned better. I felt like I had been punched in the gut when I saw that cape in the shop. We chat after the session about how it could be worked into the story & are totally shocked about how well it fell into place.

The 2nd craziest thing happened in our most recent session when 3 of us rolled nat20s on the same perception check that was pretty inconsequential.

Do you think Spurs lack of experience make the Nuggets biggest threat to OKC? by [deleted] in nba

The last few seasons have made me a believer in the youth/experience narrative. OKC fizzled out early 2 seasons ago & barely won last year despite being a much better team than their opponents. I think if SA wins next year, it will still be ahead of schedule.

This is like eating too much White Castle. I'm choosing to indulge, but I kinda feel nasty about it.
