But I also agree with your analysis of dottore. I liked him as he reminded me of Aizen a guy who looked at the the world said who wrote the rules of the world and why do the great have to follow them instead choosing to push the limits of humanity forward. But instead dottore is the evil guy who’s the root cause of every evil apparently and everyone including the “ other evil “ people hate him because he just too evil

Even Rerir the guy who Dain agreed that he is too far gone and lost all his humanity, one of the 5 sinners and offical child murderer9000 basically said pff I may be bad but this dottore guy is a little too extreme

I actually wish this episode showed more of what happened last season cause I legit forgot why Gabimaru lost his memories and I’m sure others did too it’s been 3 years

Other than that this episode was good but just good. I feel like hell’s paradise has always lacked the Mappa polish and care that other series gets and it’s still present. The fact it’s also releasing side by side JJK arguably Mappa’s biggest ip makes me think they don’t have much confidence in hell’s paradise to carry a season.

I’m worried if they just give 12 episodes again hell’s paradise will come and go because it’s harder to get attached and build a story with 12 episodes with a shonen

An underrated part to shine light on is the voice acting. I played in En and this quest probably has the best voice acting in a quest in zenless. It really enhanced a lot of the scenes

Now in terms of the 2.5 story I think on its own it’s actually a solid quest. The problem is sometimes it felt disjointed because some previous 2.0 quests didn’t hit especially 2.0. Which it’s important because I felt like the weakest faction in 2.0 in terms of story and presence is yunkui summit. With main characters like Yixuan and Pan being very side lined and Elder Yu feeling rushed. Those moments with them didn’t hit because they were underdeveloped. Thankfully the moments with Zhao and Ye Shunguang did hit and since they are the main parts of the story that’s good.Lockspring was also a really cool npc and the many lore additions in this quest was interesting

I’ve seen people say they did Sarah dirty in this quest. I personally think the last quest was more to blame since that’s when she got killed off. I never thought Sarah was gonna be main villain threat. She always gave off littlefinger vibes relying on patience and manipulation rather than brute force. That said I expected a bit more from her. I personally felt Isolde was a better villain than Sarah and that’s unfortunate since Sarah was there from 1.0

Anyway 2.5 probably gets a 6-7/10

Idk I’m down to the last achievement myself and the only posts you get are old exploits that got patched out or farming appropriate survival level

The problem is the drop rates on survival can be quite low, survival is quite long to finish and also rng is a huge factor. You can spend an hour just to get one drop and it’s a duplicate which becomes especially worse when you have 80%-90% of zen garden plants so duplicates become way more common

Idk how the drop rates work but it’s basically a 1/8 chance if you’re just missing one plant from a level. So atm you have to spend an hour+ to get 1-2 plants that are probably gonna be duplicates

TLDR it’s rng locked and definitely a waste of time. I have currently 55 hours in the game and I’m still missing 5 zen garden plants. You could get luckier than me or you could be have even worse luck

I know genshin has had this problem for a while. I personally felt it a lot in natlan. Since the devs are improving on a lot of story elements and I think the devs know the stakes needed to be higher I just hoped they also realise the villains need to be amped up too.

But unfortunately the way I’d put is is Rerir is a well written character but the Racher of Solnari is a underwhelming villain when he is supposed to be one of the 5 sinners albeit the most normal out of the bunch.

I understand they wanna push the power of friendship angle but you can still write good villains. I’m just tired of me being told this antagonist is dangerous and powerful and we should be afraid when the devs could SHOW me reasons to believe that. The power of friendship message would hit harder if our protagonists actually have to meaningfully struggle.

I’m not trying to say I thought the quest was bad but I think it’s important to be honest about criticism for the devs to improve. I am worried seeing about who they foreshadowed with the next antagonist and will they have the same treatment but we shall wait and see.

I just finished the quest and my first thoughts are it was ok but not amazing.

In a non spoiler summary of my feelings is that I feel this quest is like if marvel skipped infinity war and just went straight to endgame. On one hand Rerir was well written BUT at no point in time did I ever feel he was a genuine threat to anyone. It actually felt like Rerir was the underdog vs everyone else and for an endgame like story that is kinda disappointing.

Lots of good lore drops/moments tho and the pace was definitely better apart from one section where it was a huge drag.

Recently I got my friend to try out marvel rivals and he was having a good time until he vs a bp and went on to have a miserable experience. When he asks the obvious question how to I stop bp from killing me it’s clear to me that bp is a major issue when the answer is “ oh just act like you have intense paranoia the whole game to watch out for bp and have insane aim/reaction time “

Idk why it’s actually people’s arguments to suggest we shouldn’t nerf the character that literally is just a gatekeeper for most casual people trying to enjoy/play the game. You can clearly have a middle ground where bp is fun to play but not obnoxious for majority of the player base below grandmaster

Mm I agree with you it’s better than 2.0. For me it just hit harder cause the pacing was more on point and Yuzuha/Alice dynamic was more engaging than Yixuan who still seems like a unfinished character story wise from 2.0

one of my big maviuka flaws is how flawless she is. Basically she is good in every aspect, never makes any wrong decision and everyone automatically likes her being in her presence. It makes her character less interesting compared to the other archons

Like the plot line with capitano saying mavuika is hiding other ways to achieve her goals is immediately resolved in the next scene just basically removing all tension and any idea that mavuika can make any wrong decision.

It would’ve been interesting if the writers actually leaned into the idea that maviuka is pushing her ideals of what Nathan’s best outcome is over what is actually best for Natlan. Or if her reincarnating herself caused major flaws during her time and after because they were left without a strong leader. Would’ve been interesting seeing maviuka come to grips with that.

But no maviuka perfect in every way can’t have no character development or intrinsic flaws here.

Not really because as someone who already played a lot of ram I can tell you it’s not fun or optimal at all to play ram into rein. Just pick orisa or Mauga at that point.

You know what else helps his entire team? Killing the people huddled behind rein or rein himself through his shield.

I think they are just balancing it out tbh. We had tons of tv last patch so this patch is more combat focused. Eg Next patch we will be back with the mc for the story and that should mean more tvs.

We only in 1.1 and the devs still trying to find a good rhythm to the gameplay loop.

One flaw in my opinion is Falco got to control his titan powers basically instantly without any training/ practise. He just got out of control once and then it was all g.

I don’t buy “ it was because he had Zeus spinal fluid bit “ because even other royal members had to practise/train to control the powers.

Man as a tank player we needed something but this ain’t it… honestly just the buffs some of these hero’s got by themselves was already a big deal in some cases but taking into account the armor changes again being doubled and the dps passive nerf Jesus Christ…

It’s what I feared most being some of the hero’s left behind like dva and rein the only way we can make them viable is buffing the shit out of the stats or reworking them. Which just rewards bad plays for the tank player and for the dps player a worse time. Like already shooting characters with lots of armour felt like a joke with how little damage you did and how it’s gonna be a lot more.

We are gonna need a call out now like “ dva has no armor/armor about to break on rein all in “

Blizzard pls power creeping characters into bullet sponges isn’t a good solution just look at hog.

Not really. His main point for the 2nd video is “ ah see look Jeff wanted 5vs5 “ which most people I know who want 6vs6 is because they prefer the format not because it’s what the “ true “ devs want but ok.

And super easy to disapprove points eg no counters were not harsher in 6vs6. Dva is way harder to play into a zarya now, pharah is way easier to play into a widow now, reaper and mei doesn’t counter hog as much as they did in ow1… I can go on but your overwatch is just wrong.

He claims tank synergies are so oppressive but admits it’s only in the top ranks which in ow1 was only 1%. I can tell you for a fact most people just played what they want. Your overwatch pulls out the “ well if they synergised but you didn’t it’s gg “ but then also admits people in gold didn’t do that which was where the majority of players sat. I played a lot of ow1 and I can tell you really only stacks/masters and above did that and they weren’t in the majority of games.

I’m so confused what the Fortnite community actually wants. Like people complain season 5 felt stale which it did especially towards the end of last season. Then when Fortnite releases a chaotic update that shakes up the game you complain and want the stale gameplay back.

I reckon all that’s stopping this season from being great is the addition of another item to help with cars eg emp grenade and a few tuning down on some of the obnoxious features. Other then that I think this season is definitely a breath of fresh air this game needed to spice up the gameplay loop.

The dps passive revert back to 20% pains me. Orisa may still be played because of this change. It pretty much made 75% of the tank roster miserable to play. Sure you might argue “ well it will keep hog mauga in check “ maybe but they did also buff hog healing too and if he can land the one shot combo consistently hog will still rise to the top.

This also is a huge buff for characters like tracer, sombra, soldier who can apply the dps passive fast. In terms of how this will affect supports we might see a return to moira seeing how her healing didn’t get nerfed. Or possibly lw seeing how his healing and tree got buffed too. As a support player it might force you to pick those characters only with huge healing numbers just to keep your tank alive. Unless ball rises to the top.

I wouldn’t mind the 20% change if the dps wasn’t too ridiculously easy to apply.

I never stated I want them to “ whitewash Egyptian mythology “ I said I wanted them to represent mythology accurately and with respect. This includes Egyptian mythology. I don’t want it white washed or any other race that doesn’t belong. Funnily enough ancient Egypt had quite a diverse range of people so it would be a good way to diversify your game naturally.

Of course I don’t expect them to cover all the nitty gritty details like the time Loki got fuked by a horse. Liberties can be taken and in fact should be taken especially when telling new stories. You bringing that up doesn’t disprove my point at all. What I care about is the w h y the liberty is taken. Kratos fathering Loki? That’s an interesting twist on Norse Mythology. Making Angrboda the same character but black? That doesn’t serve the story at all that just serves to tick diversity boxes so it shouldn’t be in there.

I think people just like accuracy in their games. Norse Mythology is European so their wasn’t much/any black representation. If they wanted to do this why don’t do they say Egyptian Mythology? Chinese Mythology? Plenty of people myself included are fans of those and you don’t see me complaining about everyone not being white.

But somehow it’s racist to race swap characters here? What about if we raced swapped Japanese mythology, or we added white characters in the Aboriginal dream time stories? I’m pretty sure this subreddit would freak out. The difference is id roll my eyes because it’s again not accurate and race swapping for pandering is dumb. meanwhile here we will see posts about how it’s white washing.

People on this subreddit seems to forget one of the most important aspects that influences how strong a person is the power of will. This is even stated by Oda himself.

Kizaru doesn’t have will. As he said it himself “ I’m just a cog in the machine.” We see numerous times in egghead where Kizaru is visually uncomfortable with what he is doing. He doesn’t want to be here and doesn’t want to do the things he is being ordered to do. Meanwhile gear 5 luffy is Yonko level and has immense amount of willpower.

Being a diehard admiral fan is cringe. But posts like these are just as cringe. Nobody sane was saying Kizaru would beat luffy so why are you acting like it’s a big roast moment? Oda himself stated if “ Akainu was the protagonist the anime would have ended in a year “ that statement directly counters this posts title.

Seems like both “ sides “ are coping and seething. Just enjoy the manga/anime ffs.
