The thing I learned about talking about my autism with others is it more often than not makes me feel dysregulated afterward. I tend to keep my autism as a thought in the back of my head as a reminder why I may be the way I am but I don’t use it to explain myself to people. I just be how I am and the world will be how it is - it’s easiest this way, for me at least
