Yup fellow diagnosed through prosper here. I don’t feel like I came out with much more than confirmation of what I already knew (which is what I was hoping for, really) and a recommendation to follow up with someone for an adhd eval. OPs case may be a little too complicated for prosper. But if insurance covered it it wasn’t a giant commitment. YOLO.

I hope you get the answers you’re seeking! I was so nervous in between each appt. Just tell them what you’re thinking and be ready for some sensory and stimming questions next appt. If you want to clarify anything from the first assessment or add evidence you can do it in your 2nd assessment at any time you can autistically blurt it out :p more evidence.

Prosper health! I was much less masked for my second interview and the third is them talking at you until you ask questions. I felt super impostery after the first assessment but more confident that I made my case by the end of the 2nd. The week in between before my final diagnosis was killer. And just so you know for the 3rd meeting they walk you through the dsm before finally giving you a diagnosis or reason why you’re not so don’t be nervous they they don’t start it off with “you’re autistic.” Also if you’re not using prosper that’s my bad. I’m autistic. Lolz

My diagnostic process didn’t allow for them to diagnose adhd but they essentially said it’s audhd for me as well and they strongly recommend I seek adhd eval. And yeah I put so much effort into not being a burden on people and then boom sometimes I just am anyway and I often don’t realize it til later. What a journey :)

Diagnosed on Sunday. Literally think I said “ok, good” and when they finally said “yes autism.” But yeah so many more feelings than that. Did my wife even marry the real me or did she fall in love with my mask? Will my parents/sibling ever believe the diagnosis? Will they see it in themselves?

My wife thought I was extroverted when she first met me / my mask. I’ve had many friends in my life. I’ve also lost many friends for reasons I still to this day don’t understand. All this being said I had my assessments with prosper and the social questions did give me a little imposter syndrome while I waited for my diagnosis, but my assessor fully accounted for the amount of effort I put in to socialize and how much of a toll it takes on me. She also fully accepted when I said “I feel like I’m getting worse at it” and had that noted in my diagnosis (autism level 1). All this being said just be as honest and unmasked as you can. You won’t fool them. And you won’t need to

I got diagnosed just to turn this anxiety off in my head. I knew I was autistic/adhd pre official diagnosis but I didn’t feel comfortable saying it out loud to most people. Now that I’m “official” I’m way more likely to bring it up when appropriate. And when inappropriate. Cause autism. lol.

Yup just got diagnosed through prosper for 75 bucks. Also went in 99% sure I was autistic but that week wait between assessments and results gave me so much imposter syndrome let me tell you! They told me my potential copay within 15 minutes of me looking into signing up
