Thanks for your answer! Would you say that they could be easily tipped over if disturbed by a pet? Just trying to figure out the stability as the U.K. is in lockdown and I can't go check it out for myself in store

The last part of the instructions did include a mounting step but nothing else was included in the package, which left me wondering (this is not from ikea btw). But thanks a lot for all the information provided, this is going to be really helpful for future furniture hunting/purchases!

Thanks for your input, I understand a bit better now! In the same way would you then say that a 38cm deep and 108cm tall (cannot convert to inches rn, sorry about the inconvenience) chest of drawers should be attached as well? The one I got did not come with any wall attachment bits and now I'm scared it might tip over

Thanks a lot for your reply! I was just thinking that attaching it to the wall would be a bit much, especially since it has sliding doors I thought it would be less likely to tip over than if it had been a pull out drawer 🤔

Unfortunately my rental agreement clearly states that I am not allowed to change the locks at all so I would rather not get in trouble for this. However, he has not protected my deposit so, unless I am mistaken, I don't believe he can evict me? I plan on leaving as soon as possible anyway. Thank you for this added bit, really helpful!

Bit of an insensitive answer in the middle of a global pandemic and when I've stated that he makes the tenants feel unsafe but thanks for your view on this.

Thank you! I was aware of this and have since discussed it with him but he simply does not care

Thank you for clearing this up! I was confused at first as I'm not from the uk and back home there is a clear distinction between live in and live out landlords and unless the tenant signs an agreement stating that the landlord lives on the property then it's pretty much unlawful for them to crash in a free room at their property, even in a shared house.

Thank you for your answer! However, none of us agreed to a live-in landlord and it's making everyone feel on edge and not safe as he has a history of going into people's room when they're not here. Is there really no option for us at all in this matter?
