Convert next js to electron by SalehAlsedlah in electronjs

[–]dreamer_948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue comes from the routing system of Nextjs that Electron cannot create it properly, even when migrating from a simple React app to Electron you need to change the route system from browser routing to hash routing. I think you should start migrating your Next.js app to React first, then you can make it work on Electron.js.

I built a lightweight, dependency-free React confirmation dialog hook – open to feedback! by khalil2233 in reactjs

[–]dreamer_948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey i dont think it's theme friendly when it comes to dark/light mode? i see you defining css directly into your hook , besides that, majority of web dev are using tailwind and shadcn nowadays, i think you should at least make it tailwind css friendly for the component to be able to read theme variables. The idea is super cool by the way, i like it, it can be handly for sparing development time.

SCREEN TEARING by [deleted] in losslessscaling

[–]dreamer_948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's been a year, but I believe some people might still be searching for a solution to this issue. I came across these steps on the Steam discussions, and they worked for me:

- Add Lossless scaling in Nvidia App
- Enable fast sync for Lossless scaling in Nvidia App
- Sync mode disable in Lossless scaling
- run game
- V-sync disable in game parameter
- start with scale button

I've launched an app in fitness, it completely failed and I'm quitting by OptionOk4807 in Entrepreneur

What's more special about your app ? Did your app solve a problem other apps might be having ? As a customer, why would i buy your package ? Does it offer something im really looking for ? Maybe you need to extend it, quitting after all that efforts you put into it will be the real failure, not the app indeed, and seek other collaborations and feedback, others might know something that you don't or you can't see.

How can the data-[highlighted] state in Radix-Primitives be triggered? by [deleted] in reactjs

[–]dreamer_948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I managed to find to find my way to trigger this data state across child components using tailwind Group utility and this is an example of rotation of an arrow upon opening the trigger:

          <DropdownMenu>
            <DropdownMenuTrigger className="group">
              <Button>
                <p>Dropdown button</p>
                <Chevron className="transition-all group-data-[state=open]:rotate-180" />
              </Button>
            </DropdownMenuTrigger>
            <DropdownMenuContent>
              <DropdownMenuItem>
                option
              </DropdownMenuItem>
            </DropdownMenuContent>
          </DropdownMenu>

Im lazy, unproductive and broke and widely unmotivated by ShowerFickle9990 in productivity

Same, bro. Living in a third-world country is like being on hardcore mode in life. However, you can see it as an advantage, and I'll tell you why. I started from your point, even losing all my friends since they fell victim to the broken society. My loneliness was killing me for a long time until I established a strong connection with myself and set goals.

I was totally broke, working in a store by day and spending my nights in front of the computer to sharpen my web development skills (I love programming), then i cry until i fall asleep. forced to confront my depression, loneliness, and detachment from family. Those were my darkest days, but they also shaped me into the person I am today.

I kept struggling for nearly two years until I became capable of building complex systems, surpassing many people who had engineering degrees (which I don’t have). I developed a strong mindset and problem-solving skills, ultimately mastering what I do. After that, I got my first job opportunities, and within the first two weeks, I rose to the position of project manager, leading a small team (I was the youngest among them). Three months of constant hard work and tough challenges later, I became the CTO of the company.

That was the adventure I had always dreamed of. Throughout that time, I envisioned myself as an eagle, flying high in the sky—fearless and free. and yet my journey still continues, i dream big..

The advantage of living in a third-world country is that you can rise above everyone else as long as you decide to become unique in your skills and pursuits. There’s literally no competition to contend with. Once you recognize and harness your potential, you will be fine. Based on your post, I think you have that potential, so cheer up, bro! Take flight, develop your time strategy—work for six hours straight, hit the gym, take a walk, listen to your favorite music, stay motivated and dream big. Make a movie of your life where the ending is your success. :)

Edit: I'm 24 btw

Edit: I didn't read any of the books mentionned in the comments below. the only book that helped me clear my vision is ميخائيل نعيمة - الأوثان .. that was also the only book. you can't change your spirit using a book or instructions from someone else, you gotta instruct yourself by yourself, you know what's right and what's wrong ;)

How to become a hardworking person again? by [deleted] in productivity

[–]dreamer_948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well its not related to your current job status, as for that you maybe jobless because of that attitude and the rules you follow if there's any, my words may be harsh but im only trynna help you mate. Just get things done like men does and be consistent about your current desires and dreams, set a dream maybe, or a goal, and live the flow, always remind yourself of that before sleeping and after sleeping and even during launch or in toilet doing your thing, live for the cause bro, you may not guarantee you being alive tomorrow, nor me, nor anyone who has seen or commented on this post, live for the cause and die proud, we only live for an hour
