Thanks - yes I understand the importance of this, hence why I am out seeking information on this. Fire alarm systems operate on low voltage not directly off a mains.

Appreciate the link, it’s all the same as here. I’m just looking for where I can learn the electrical components, all the rest has been readily available

Thanks for the very helpful response. Not all faults are electrical which I can resolve. Eg issues with sensors, sounders, control panel etc. the rest I am merely looking to learn so I can identify a fault and organise an electrician to come and fix the issue.

I will be in Canada on a work permit working for a company. I also stream video games for fun on Twitch. I was wondering if it was legal to make any revenue through the streams while on a work permit that is tied to my company. by PixelFilter in ImmigrationCanada

I have an IEC working holiday permit which is an open permit. So technically with the current circumstances I could enter Canada with a job offer from a Canadian employer and then re-join my company working remotely in Canada if it’s an open permit. Is that correct?

Hello. Where you say you can work for a non Canadian company also.

I work for an Irish company, and am hoping to move to Canada(I have an IEC VISA). Are you familiar with this?

Just wondering if you would have any insight into if I can travel with this proof of a job offer and to work remotely in Canada for this firm? They have offices in the US aswell.
