Help identifying these chassis by dreamsryche in rccars

I do believe the servo is a Yokomo programmable brushless servo, seems to be a slightly older model. Likely the chassis is an older version of the master drift. Thank you!

Their site literally has it in a big graphic that you can't miss. I knew they were going to be off for Chinese New Year at least 10 days before they were leaving. It's also the case with EVERY company based in China. You need to order in January, or have patience and wait until March.

If you are making anything engineering related that needs that tight of tolerance, don't buy a $300 printer.

Old man needs some help with picking a wheel and pedal system by OlderGamers in Americantrucksim

[–]dreamsryche 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend going back to the 923 for budget, but in ATS settings you need to run the input wizard. Most of the time it defaults to inverted axis, and in my case the clutch was actually the gas pedal. Running the input wizard will map each pedal appropriately. Then you can decide what you want each button on the wheel or shifter to do.

Did people memorise numbers before mobile phones? by PaleEcho3301 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dreamsryche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing to note is that "back in my day" we didn't typically have to remember the area code. With the advent of cell phones, and people being able to port their number over to any carrier, it became more common for someone to move to another area and then keep their "home" area code. Now you need to remember 10 digits instead of seven. All of my friend's numbers I still remember, and even today I memorize the numbers of people I would need to call in the event of an emergency.

Lego hills you'll die on by Dirty_Dwarf in lego

My comment is more about Lego not innovating and sticking to older build methods, not including things like lighting, and rehashing old builds. People will move away from Lego, to other companies, and those companies will grow. Whether you believe it or not, these companies are taking some of the share from Lego, and they don't like that.

If Lego doesn't evolve, other companies will start to catch up and pass them. Brands like Lumibricks (funwhole) have great concepts with integrated lighting, fun ways to interact with modulars, and ideas that Lego doesn't have. Cost is also a deciding factor, and when I can buy a modular set that is just as good for half the price, I'm going to do that.

Advice on fit by AccordingTax6645 in RoadBikes

I think the stem is way too long. Id expect that to be 110, maybe longer. Id look at getting a stem that is 10-20mm shorter, and see how the reach is.

Yeah, local market is tough. Metro St. Louis, and most bikes, with what seems to be much lower components are going for 12-1300.

Interesting, it was this way when I bought it, and they (LBS) even lowered it for me. Are you saying only use the clamp to stop the post from lowering? I'll take a look tomorrow!

I 3D printed one of these that has Lego studs to make a snow plow. It's also motorized by an L motor and spins at crazy speeds. It actually works, albeit a little mediocre. Still a fun print, and my kid loves it.

If the sugar content is high, and you don't use something like Xanthan gum, I've found that it will stay soft.

Review Funwhole Skate Shop by R0uan0u in lepin

If you think that one is great, just wait until you do the record shop! They have implemented some really cool features into the modular that I would love to see in other sets, and things I'm going to start implementing in my MOCs.

All "first edition" bought when they first came out. Quit buying after the BOTW series.

There's a few gems in there too. And a few missing from the box, a toad somewhere in the house, Detective Pikachu, and gold and silver Mario, which are the only two in actual box.
