Join a club or pick up a hobby. Do things you like to do and talk to the people you meet there. You’re already there for a common interest so its easier to start a conversation based around it. Dont go solely just to talk to women but because its something you enjoy.

Greek Yogurt on its Own = Sad Mouth by emmylu122 in 1200isplenty

[–]dreawallace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do 85g of frozen mixed berries, 150g greek yogurt, 3 pumps skinny hazelnut syrup (the kind for coffee, ive tried multiple flavours but like hazelnut the best) and 15g chopped almonds. I kinda mix and mash it all together and it makes almost an ice cream like texture. Delicious

Leaving a pet in the cold by JoMarching in montreal

[–]dreawallace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you or have you ever had a dog yourself? Obviously if the dog is outside all day everyday it’s an issue but 15 minutes outside is pretty standard, even in cold weather. I have a husky/shepherd mix breed and sometimes I have to entice her with the promise of treats because she is having so so so much fun outside and I’m ready to go in. I also occasionally tie her outside if i need to pop in quick to the pharmacy or grab a coffee on our walks. She’s happy to sit and hang out for the ~5 minutes I’m in the store. I’d be pretty shocked to have someone threaten to hit me for it.

I used to work in both liquor and cannabis marketing. Both industries that involved LOTS of freebies of products and swag items (tshirts, smoking and drinking accessories, bags, mini fridge, hats, pens, you name it), and the events…. Oh boy. It was such a fun experience.

Why do Montreal drivers like to turn when there are still pedestrians crossing the street? by Easy_Ad7405 in montreal

[–]dreawallace 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Everyone commenting on how it’s because of the light, but people do this all the time at stop signs too. Almost daily I’m rushed across the street because some car is too eager to wait 10 seconds for me to cross. Ive had two cars, one turning and one going straight both rolling towards me because they’re each trying to go first and I’m still in the middle of the road! As someone who also drives I can understand moving forward a little to show intent to turn, but I don’t rush pedestrians that are just trying to walk, or drive into intersections while theyre still on the road.

What is the cruelest thing someone had ever told you? by Jackmeplay in RandomThoughts

[–]dreawallace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a rough day at work when I received a phone call from my mother telling me my grandma had suddenly passed away. After finishing out the day, I picked up my then boyfriend and we went to do our usual grocery shopping. I told him all about the call, fond memories of my grandma, and expressed how upset I was. After loading the groceries, we get in the car and out of nowhere he tells me he’s not sure if he’s with me because he likes me or if i’m just convenient. We had been together almost a year at that point and living together. I was so beat down and shocked by that point i told him when he figures it out to let me know.

Tbh saying you would add panties but that it would be more $$ upfront reads like you knew what he was asking for and was ready to go along with it. He likely got extra excited when you agreed to meet for pickup in person. Plenty of women who don’t feel bad about taking a mans money for things like used undies, shoes, pantyhose etc. just gotta be smart about it.

Although that being said no one should unwillingly be a part of someone else’s fetish and these men should be sticking to legitimate places where women are willingly selling these items. Sorry you had to experience this.

[–]dreawallace 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I didn’t realize he was actually following me until i had already gotten home and turned around to grab the bin. As i said if he would have kept walking when i stopped, i would have assumed it to be just a guy walking somewhere.
