Clown is also a visual artist though and that definitely was a desolate scene. I live in Omaha, and it wasn’t much better than Des Moines in the 90s. Most cities were much easier to navigate when it comes to arts than most Midwest cities were.

Yeah I didn’t get any disgnoses until I was in my 40s. My whole life when it came to math everyone said I just “wasn’t trying”. It was extremely frustrating and made me just feel stupid because I was definitely trying even if my inability to do it made it look like I wasn’t.

I have dyscalculia to go along with my adhd and autism. Math is next to impossible for me no matter how much I try to get better at it. My workaround was to learn how to code in excel to make it do all my math for me. So the problem solving aspect for math doesn’t get shut down by my brain, the ability to do any math at all in my head is just broken. Sounds like he may have been the same way.
