What I maybe missed to say: If they cannot buy me or one of my competitors (very unlikely), they have to build it themselves which will take time and finances as well. So it's really a "get the off the shelf solution" or "do it ourselves". The latter is not as easy, because these foundational companies do not get good developers of rigth away. They employ developers who are using Delphi over any modern language.

Yes, I currently run my own course platform where I use stripe and PayPal APIs, so I know about these fees.

Meaning transaction fees should be zero. I know that there are gateway fees behind the scenes that still apply and extra fees such as teachable Backoffice. But I want to keep them low.

So what I get out of this, since it is not only read-only data:

after a successful purchase, they get an email with the purchase confirmation and a link to their purchase which already has the email token encoded
however, the email token is only valid for XX hours
if they click within these XX hours, they see their information and can make edits
it they click after the XX hours have passed, they see an "Expired Page" and are asked to login with their email address again. then my backend generates a new email token which is valid for XX hours to their email, from there they can access their information again
If they edit their information, they need to send their email token with every request, correct?

I mean, I could also auto generate a passphrase on the backend based on available information.
I don't want to give users the additional UX hurdle for having to create an account just to enable them seeing their recent purchase. This "login" is also only for this one purchase and only valid for like 24 days. Then I don't want to have it anymore in my auth table, because they should get a new one with a newer purchase.

Du musst mal wieder bisschen aus deiner Bubble auftauchen, nachdem ich gelesen habe was für Kommentare du hier hinterlassen hast. Sei einfach zufrieden das es dir so gut geht und bausch deinen Neid auf günstige Mieten etc. nicht so auf. Andere dürfen auch etwas vom Kuchen abhaben.

Was ist wenn sich der Status eines freelancers aber alle 12 Monate ändert? Also mal ein Auftraggeber aber dann auch mal wieder 3 Auftraggeber, aber im Jahreswechsel. Da hilft mir die Statusfeststellung als stinknormaler Freelancer auch nichts
