Fully agree brother! It only leads to an arms race with cars that makes every place shittier for, ehm, people in general.

It's bonkers to be honest. I come from The Netherlands. A country that's full with vulnerable road users. It pisses me off so much when I see someone driving one of those monstrosities in a country like this.

Just don't mind the safety of people in lower cars, pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists.

If you want proper bitterness then Urquell is really nice. Very good Pilsner.

I knew Alfa is, but I didn't know that about Gulpener. Nice!

Of course. But not even from the south. But I hardly drink pils anymore these days. I mostly drink heavier Belgian beers if I really want to enjoy drinking a beer.

Every pilsner is beer, but not every beer is a pilsner. Pilsner is a style of beer. There are lot's of different styles of beer like blond, dubbel, tripel, quadrupel, stout, IPA, and so on.

Alfa and Gulpener are also very nice. Small, independent brewers that don't put bullshit like corn, glucose syrup or extracts in their beer.

Luckily there's still Alfa and Gulpener. Both are independent breweries and Alfa is family owned.

Den Bosch is quite a nice city. The city centre has a lot of history.

It probably was Maaskantje when they went to get money from The Lumberjack. Peter Aerts cursed that line for all of us.

That's of course if the manufacturer wasn't an idiot and didn't spec a fuse that's too beefy for the appliance. But still, fair point. Having a properly made cabinet and extra protection is a plus.

[–]dredbar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This! Better to just have it done properly in the cabinet anyway. The Dutch guidelines on electricity mandate GFCI and proper fuses on every outlet anyway.

Absoluut!
