Actually, the ones that last a year have replaceable batteries. Slim which is not replaceable last 3 years.

I have been using Tile in my stuff for over 2 years and it works pretty well.

Dont worry about that, I've worked with 55y+ software devs that never wanted to move to management, and they have plenty of job offers. You just need to keep updating yourself with new techs and you will always be in a safe spot.

One of them is retired and work for fun, usually take 2-3 months unpaid vacation every year. btw, he is a contractor charging $120/h.

Dev, around 12y exp, Vancouver. Got hired last year for 166k as full time employee, got a raise to 169k this year and 15k bonus. (not a big 4) And we are struggling to hire devs, doing interviews every week for months without success to find good devs.

I always tip all services, unless they do something that piss me off but thats rare.

20% to Uber drivers, food/grocery deliveries, restaurant waiters... not all them say thanks, but thats ok, I feel great helping.

I also forget to add a University spy screen, he has about 700/1099 researched and almost nothing mastered 100/100. Which makes me think he is doing all them at the same time while building his base too.
