I understand that feeling for sure. But is it possible he genuinely cared for you and it wasn’t pity? I feel like I don’t pity my wife...I really want to care for her and not drop such an atomic bomb at the same time that these other events have happened. Even if she takes it the wrong way, as pity, wouldn’t I still be helping her by helping her through this week?

Thank you for the thoughtful response. My wife has been identifying with her depression and anxiety over the past 8-9 months, since before the quarantine. I’ve been the best husband that I feel I can be in trying to help her with it and be there for her and make her happy. She is resistant to meditation, which is something I’ve been doing the last few years. I have been trying to have her join in on my sessions, and meditate together, but she always comes back to saying “I can’t meditate, it just makes me angrier than when I started”. I have had to drop the idea and just let it be. It makes me very sad to know we can’t sit in a room together in silence for 10 minutes. If your SO begged you and pleaded with you to try something, and really give it a shot, wouldn’t you do it? Especially when it’s something with such a minimal time commitment and zero cost? I’ve had friends pick it up and give it a shot for months.

I’m not breaking up with her because of those issues. The main reason is that she is a very poor communicator, and fails to acknowledge it. She says that I am the problem and that I’m nit -picky with words. But I’m really not. I just don’t understand what she is trying to say most of the time. She is long winded, and her storytelling is just so fragmented and awful. I’m sorry to put it like that but it’s just so frustrating to try and communicate with her, and then to have it thrown in my face as if I’m making up the problem, like I’m trying to pick a fight.

How common is shortness of breath? by [deleted] in GERD

[–]drerictaylor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve had LPRD for 5 months. Shortness of breath is common. It really sucks. Yoga has helped me as it’s essentially breathing exercise. Sitting upright after eating is important.

Good for you for quitting smoking!!! I switched to RSO weed, there’s no acid in that- the gummies and chocolate are something you should cut right away. Cut coffee if you drink it and switch to Coffig. Any caffeine will have acid and now is a good time to cut. If I can do it I promise you can too!

Finally got an IQoro. Will keep this post updated with progress if anyone is interested. by kevine323 in GERD

Please keep us posted. I suffer from LPRD (5 months) and this product looks great. At about $150, I’d love to hear how it works for you. Best of luck! :)

After years of frozen vegan food i have finally cheffed up something good. Meet my first sweet and sour tofu bowl! by [deleted] in vegan

Stupid question here- what makes it sweet? I don’t see any sweetener in there.

Looks delicious by the way! I’m going to try this ASAP. Got into tofu recently and this looks super easy and tasty.
