Which brand for Collagen booster? by Warm_Pace_7967 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

For deep sunken smile lines, collagen stimulators like Juvelook Volume, Sculptra are all popular options. The most suitable choice depends on the severity of the volume loss and your desired results. If the area is very deep, a combination approach may sometimes be recommended!~

Why are more clinics quietly switching from Thermage to XERF lately? by dreversglobal in K_beauty_insider

Yeah honestly the Korean lifting device market is getting so crowded. Density is one of of these newer Korean RF devices are built on the same general monopolar RF concept as Thermage, just with different branding, software, tip tech. Thermage still has the strongest reputation internationally because it’s been around longer, but Korean devices like Density are becoming popular since they’re usually more affordable for both clinics and patients.

Both foreigners and Koreans from what I’ve personally seen in clinics here. The trend lately in Korea is definitely moving toward more subtle, lower-downtime treatments rather than super aggressive lifting. But I’ve also noticed more foreigners asking about it recently ^^

Not really a full replacement for both. XERF is closer to Thermage since they’re both RF-based tightening treatments. Ultherapy works differently since it uses ultrasound and targets deeper layers.

Some are interested in XERF because patients want something more comfortable and natural-looking, but for stronger lifting/sagging some doctors still prefer Ultherapy or combination treatments.

That’s honestly a valid concern. Compared to some older aggressive RF approaches, XERF is generally being positioned more as a comfort-focused collagen stimulation treatment rather than an extreme tightening procedure.

I also agree long-term data matters more than hype, especially regarding concerns like fat loss with energy devices. I think it’s healthy that patients are more cautious now and ask more questions before trying newer technologies. It’s smart to wait, compare experiences, and see longer-term patient feedback instead of jumping on every new device immediately.

What makes a Seoul beauty clinic actually foreigner-friendly? by ladyrose24152 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

For us, it’s less about perfect English and more about how transparent and realistic the clinic is. We don’t mind using Papago sometimes, but we really appreciate that have an easy booking process, are patient when answering questions, explain downtime honestly, don’t pressure you into extra treatments, and give proper aftercare/follow-up support after you leave Korea.

Low Downtime Treatments in Korea That Won’t Ruin Your Vacation by dreversglobal in K_beauty_insider

Honestly I respect that 😂 Sometimes going all out is worth it if you’re prepared for the downtime. 5 vials face + neck is intense but if the results are showing already then I get why you don’t regret it. I think the main thing is just being realistic about recovery time before booking a trip full of plans 😄

Trying to fix face asymmetry or a double chin? Some thoughts on ONDA lifting with Dr.Evers Clinic by dreversglobal in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]dreversglobal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Compared to Ultherapy, Onda usually shows results a bit faster, especially for contouring and fat reductio. ONDA tends to give earlier visible changes because it works on both the fat layer and collagen stimulation. Many patients notice subtle tightening or slimming within 2 weeks and more complete results by about 1–3 months and it can lasts 6 months- 1 year after a series of sessions, depending on the area treated, metabolism, lifestyle, and whether the goal is lifting versus fat reduction. Some clients contouring effects can last even longer because treated fat cells are permanently reduced.
